Phoenix Assured No. 1 seed in Western Conference

Suns Riding Eight-Game Win Streak

The Phoenix Suns are currently 61-14 and have locked up the No. 1 seed in the NBA. On top of that, if you bet online, you should note that this team is riding an eight-game winning streak.

The Golden State Warriors are the third seed in the Western Conference, but they have been plummeting lately. They have lost six of their last seven games and enter on a three-game losing streak.

They want to show that they can still measure up to the top dogs, but can they? Let’s take a closer look at this NBA game betting preview and evaluate which side is the best bet versus the NBA odds.

Let’s check the latest NBA Picks, stats, injury reports, and NBA Odds for Suns vs Warriors. We’ve plenty of NBA Predictions

Suns Look Unstoppable

The Phoenix Suns are going to be without JaVale McGee and Cameron Johnson against the Warriors but injuries haven’t slowed them down of late. Chris Paul had missed 15 games and the team didn’t skip a beat, looking strong as ever.

This is a squad that is ranked third in the league in points per game, first in field goal percentage, and eighth in points allowed. They’re very balanced and deep and can survive on the road without McGee and Johnson.

There just doesn’t seem to be a weak spot right now. On top of all that, Devin Booker has been gaining ground in MVP talks. He averages 26.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.9 assists, acting as the offensive leader with Paul out of commission.

With Paul expected to be playing in this game, Phoenix is going to be tough to slow down..

Inconsistency Plaguing Warriors

Despite coming out of the gates incredibly hot, Golden State Warriors have started to lose steam as the playoffs approach.

Injuries have kept this team off balance most of the year with Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and now Steph Curry all being forced to miss time.

While Thompson and Green have made it back onto the court, Curry is out with a sprained left foot. In his absence, they have needed somebody else to really take the scoring load.

Jordan Poole has been doing a nice job all season with an average of 17.9 points per game, though he can’t let off the gas now. The issue is that he’s a great asset off the bench. When forced to start and fill Curry’s shoes, that impacts this team a lot.

Golden State is still a team that has the experience, talent, and home-court advantage. The Warriors just need to break out of this funk.

Suns vs Warriors Head-to-Head

The Suns won the first matchup this season against the Warriors on Dec. 1 by eight points.

The Warriors went on to win the next two matchups, winning the first by 22 and the second by nine. Phoenix now looks to tie the season series and should have an easier time of things with Curry out.

Suns vs Warriors Prediction

When both teams are fully healthy, it is incredibly hard to decide who will win the matchup. Golden State looked better in the past two games against Phoenix, but this seems to be a different setup.

The Suns are on fire with their veteran point guard coming back into the lineup and Booker making a case for MVP. Meanwhile, Golden State is without Curry and has lost six of its last seven.
