Tatum Scoring 30 Points Headlines Game 1 Props

Jayson Tatum is the best player on the floor when the Boston Celtics host the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

He headlines our NBA prop bets for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and there is excellent value available.

We also feature more niche betting options paying big prices.

Here’s a look at some NBA odds to consider!

Setting the Tone for Tatum

We think it’s going to be a big series for Jayson Tatum, and he should set the tone in the opening game.

Boston’s key player should enjoy playing against Indiana’s defense, and we’re not surprised by the current line of 29.5.

Bettors get -118 for Tatum to score at least 30 points, and we expect him to have a big scoring night at TD Garden.

Tatum averaged 26.9 points per game in the regular season. However, his level increases during the playoffs, hence the sizable line.

We thought he had a solid claim for more MVP votes, but unlike winner Nikola Jokic, Tatum is playing in the Conference Finals.

“Everybody has their job, including the voters who decide who should win MVP,” Tatum said. “Jokic rightly deserved that this year. At this point, the only thing that matters is getting that big trophy. We can worry about the individual awards later down my career.”

Include Tatum 30+ in your NBA prop bets for the big game on Tuesday.

White With the Assist

Derrick White is a key player for the Celtics, and it comes mostly with his passing game.

He’s a +100 chance to record at least five assists, and considering his season average is just over five, he has every chance of cashing.

We expect a lot of points to be scored in Game 1, which should see White land plenty of assists to the likes of Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

White has been in a scoring mood lately, but because we believe Tatum will score more than 30 points, White should enjoy being the assist guy.

The 29-year-old had six assists in his most recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it was the third time in the series he recorded at least five.

It bodes well, and the +100 odds are better than expected.

Bang on the Number for Haliburton

Prop bets allow bettors to lock in massive odds, and we have found a pick involving Tyrese Haliburton.

We haven’t been impressed with the Pacers point guard throughout the playoffs, so we think he’ll have a difficult scoring night.

We’re picking him to score exactly 17 points, which pays +1100. It might be a tough bet to cash, but the massive odds are worth locking in.

The current favorite is 32+ points at +900, but mostly because you don’t have to be bang on the number.

It’s worth a small wager for fun, and we can’t see him having a big scoring night against Boston’s stingy defense.

Horford Standing Strong

Al Horford is an enjoyable player to watch, but he’s also a profitable player.

The experienced Celtic is a +309 chance to record 10+ total rebounds and Boston win, and we can’t turn down those odds.

It’s a generous price from BetUS Sportsbook, and although he averages only 6.4 rebounds this season, he averages eight per game throughout his career.

Coming off a 15-rebound game against the Cavaliers, Horford is confident of getting plenty of boards in Game 1.

We expect the Pacers to put up plenty of shots and miss. Therefore, Horford could record double digit rebounds, and we can’t see Boston losing outright.

Back Horford at generous +309 odds.
