Thursday NBA Picks and Parlays: Clippers, Suns Best Bets

We missed one leg on our NBA parlay on Wednesday night, but we have been scorching hot with our NBA predictions in March. Thursday’s NBA schedule provides us with another opportunity to win big.

We have six games scheduled to tip off Thursday night, and I’m going to build our parlay bet using a combination of NBA ATS picks and NBA player props. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!

Thursday NBA Picks and Parlays: Clippers, Suns Best Bets

With so many games to break down and select our picks from, I’m loading up a three-leg parlay. You can always do a ton of your research, but the trick is I’ve already done that work for you. Let’s get into the best NBA pick of the day for Thursday.

Thursday NBA Parlay Picks

1. NBA Parlay Pick: Thunder PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 31+ Points (-126)

The Oklahoma City Thunder finish their four-game homestand tonight when they host the Dallas Mavericks. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is second in NBA MVP odds behind Nikola Jokic, and many believe the award is SGA’s to lose. He can boost his MVP chances against Luka Doncic with a big performance tonight.

Gilgeous-Alexander averages 31.1 points, the second-highest in the league behind Doncic (34.3 ppg). He has scored at least 30 points in 48 of 64 games this season, including nine of 11 games since the All-Star break.

SGA has a chance to put up massive numbers in this matchup that has the highest total on the slate. The Mavericks allow the ninth-most points in the paint per game, and Gilgeous-Alexander scores nearly 50% of his points in the paint. Dallas is in the bottom 10 in opponent free throw attempts per game, and SGA is attempting the third-most free throws per game in the NBA, trailing only Giannis Antetokounmpo and Doncic. SGA has struggled against the Mavs in the first two meetings, scoring just 17 and 25 points, but this is a bet-on spot for the Thunder. Roll with SGA to make an MVP statement with our first leg.

2. NBA Parlay Pick: Knicks -10½ at Trail Blazers

The Knicks are finally starting to get some guys back after dealing with injuries over the last month and a half. New York kicks off a four-game West Coast road trip tonight in Portland, and I expect the Knicks to win this game by double-digits. The Knicks dropped to fourth in the Eastern Conference standings and will be eager to climb back into the top three.

OG Anunoby is back in the Knicks lineup, and they have gone 15-2 with him. The Knicks are 9-3 ATS as an away favorite. Portland is on the second night of a back-to-back, and we can see the Blazers to sit some guys like Scoot Henderson, who is slowly returning from injury.

3. NBA Parlay Pick: Clippers -230 at Bulls

This is one of my favorite NBA bets for tonight. The Los Angeles Clippers hit the road tonight in a massive bounce-back spot after they lost by 18 to the Timberwolves on Tuesday. This is a classic fade spot against a team that went into overtime the night before.

The Bulls will be on the second night of a back-to-back after winning in overtime on the road against the Pacers. That game had a ton of pace, and the old Bulls will be gassed tonight. It’s their third game in four nights and their fourth in six. They have been traveling non-stop since the All-Star break, and the Clippers are 10-5 ATS with the rest advantage. Count on the Clippers to win tonight.

4. NBA Parlay Pick: Suns +5½ at Celtics

This is our lone underdog of the night I’m even considering trusting. The Phoenix Suns will battle the Boston Celtics on TNT in what could be an NBA Finals preview. The Celtics beat the Suns on the road last week by 10 points, and the Suns were without Devin Booker. Tonight, the Suns are at full strength with Booker returning in the previous game, and the Celtics are already without Kristaps Porzingis.

The Celtics return home after a long West Coast road trip, and this is their third game in four nights. It’s extremely tough to bet against Boston at home as it has the best home record in the NBA: 29-3 straight up and 18-14 ATS. This is a terrible spot for the Celtics, and the Suns are starting to gain momentum. Phoenix is the more motivated team tonight because they are fighting to get out of the Play-In spots out West.
