The Minnesota Timberwolves stormed back into their first-round playoff series with a strong win over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 4. The win got them back to a 2-2 tie.

Timberwolves: Going to Towns
The Minnesota Timberwolves have watched Anthony Edwards play excellent basketball throughout this playoff series so far. What they haven’t seen is Karl Anthony-Towns have an aggressive and dominant game like we all know he could.
He did just that in Game 4 to make everybody forget about the team’s calamitous blown lead in Game 3. Towns dropped 33 points, 14 rebounds and three assists in Game 4, which is the type of play that will put the Timberwolves over the Grizzlies in this series.
Minnesota is being held back a small bit by D’Angelo Russell’s shooting. He was 3-of-12 in Game 4 and 9-of-21 in Game 3. Better efficiency from him will help this team succeed.
Morant Not Being Aggressive
The Memphis Grizzlies have really shot up into championship contention after Ja Morant took a ridiculous leap forward in his development. During this playoff series, though, his scoring has fallen off.
He dropped a mild 11 points in a pivotal Game 4, though he did collect 15 assists. His passing has improved, but he needs to get on the board more for Memphis to really take this next step.
Why stop what has been working all year long? Desmond Bane has risen to the occasion for Memphis. He dropped 34 points in their last game and has been a beacon of offense while Morant has struggled from the field.

It was not easy to predict that the Timberwolves would be causing this much problems for Morant and the Grizzlies in the series. Patrick Beverley is doing an incredible job at defending Morant and keeping him off of the scoreboard.
