Timberwolves vs Thunder Picks, Prediction, NBA Prop Bets: Thunder -12, Hartenstein Rebounds Feb 24

The Thunder redeemed themselves last night against the Timberwolves, and with homecourt advantage tonight, things are looking promising for them. With the Wolves still battling injuries, my NBA betting tips point to Oklahoma City grabbing another ‘W’.

Let’s break down the Timberwolves vs Thunder odds and see if Minnesota can hold their ground or if Oklahoma City will have the last laugh again to close out the series.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Prediction

The Timberwolves had their way with OKC last time, but the Thunder aren’t letting that happen again. With PF Julius Randle still possibly out and C Rudy Gobert sidelined (per updated Timberwolves vs. Thunder injuries), Minnesota could be without its top rebounder and second-leading scorer – a tough spot against the NBA’s top defense. If OKC locks in on SG Anthony Edwards, this one’s theirs. Final score: Thunder 118, Timberwolves 105.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Best NBA Player Props Today

1. Isaiah Hartenstein Over 10.5 Rebounds (-106)

With Minnesota possibly being Gobert-less, Thunder C Isaiah Hartenstein is set to dominate the boards tonight, making him a top NBA player prop pick tonight to finish with over 10.5 rebounds. He’s already surpassed that mark once in this series, and that was with Gobert inactive. So, with Minnesota missing their top rebounder again, expect Hartenstein to clean up on the glass once more. Don’t overthink it – take Hartenstein to grab for over 10.5 rebounds.

2. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 30+ Points (-197)

There is no doubt the Thunder want this win on their homecourt. To make that happen, they’ll need PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to have a big night. While the NBA’s leading scorer racked up 37 points last night, we know he’s capable of doing it again and some – scoring 40 points the first time these teams met this season. Make Gilgeous-Alexander your next NBA player prop to finish with 30+ points.

3. Jaden McDaniels Under 1.5 Threes (-121)

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Once again, bet online for PF Jaden McDaniels to finish with under 1.5 made 3-pointers. We cashed in on him last time, and we’re back for more. McDaniels remains colder than a snowstorm from the arc, shooting 1-of-7 against the Rockets and 1-of-6 against the Thunder, and I expect the same here. Bank on McDaniels to continue shooting bricks from deep against a tough Oklahoma City defense.

Timberwolves vs Thunder Moneyline Pick

Look, if the Timberwolves were fully healthy, this would be a tougher call. But one coffee was all it took – I’m taking the Thunder to win this one. They’re still the league’s top defense and have a fully healthy lineup that can lock down and put up points, unlike Minnesota’s limping offense. With Gobert out and Randle possibly still sidelined, Edwards is on his own. No other way to put it – take OKC.

Bet on Thunder ML (-650)

Timberwolves vs Thunder Spread Pick

Minnesota’s injuries aren’t the only reason I’m backing the Thunder to cover here. Sure, they’re the better defensive team, but the numbers also lean their way. The Timberwolves are just 6-4 against the spread as a road underdog, while Oklahoma City has been solid as home favorites, covering in 18 of 26 games. Factor in their healthier lineup, and this pick is clear. My NBA predictions don’t get much easier – take the Thunder to cover.

Bet on Thunder -12

Timberwolves vs Thunder Over/Under Pick

We know both teams can get stops – OKC is the league’s top defense, and Minnesota ranks top five in points allowed per game. But with Oklahoma City led by Gilgeous-Alexander, you can expect the Thunder to get their points. The problem? Minnesota’s shorthanded offense won’t be enough to push this game over the total point mark. Expect a lower-scoring game and bet the under in this Western Conference rematch.

Bet on Timberwolves vs Thunder Under 227.5
