NBA odds tonight have the Oklahoma City Thunder at -8 to close out the series against the Minnesota Timberwolves and head to the NBA Finals against either the Pacers or Knicks.

NBA finals futures don’t give much hope to the Timberwolves, who need to come back from a 3-1 series deficit.

My score prediction for Game 5 is Thunder winning 116-103.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 32.5 Points (-143)

The NBA MVP is set for a big game and to close out the Wolves in style. He has been excellent throughout the series, and I’m not leaving him out of my NBA prop bets today. It’s easy to rely on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to come up with the goods.

Anthony Edwards Under 27.5 Points (-120)

I was disappointed with how Anthony Edwards performed in Game 4. It was a poor effort from a player who thrives on winning big games. There isn’t a level of maturity to his game yet, and coming off an 18-point performance, I’m picking him to struggle again. There is no NBA latest news about any injury, so it’s all mental for Edwards.

Jalen Williams Over 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-136)

Jalen Williams has been integral to the Thunders’ success, and he could get hot from deep in Game 5. Williams went 6-9 in Game 4, which is an epic performance. I’m not expecting a similar performance but he should be good for at least two three-pointers.

My NBA predictions today have the Thunder winning easily, so include OKC ML in picks. It will take a mammoth effort for the Timberwolves to score a road upset, and I can’t see it happening on Wednesday.

Based on my NBA player prop picks, it’s clear I’m going with the Thunder -8. It’s a big line, but the Thunder have too much depth for the Timberwolves, and after putting up a fight in the first half, the Thunder should finish far too strongly and cover the spread.
