On Wednesday night, we tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET with a clash between Anthony Edwards’ Minnesota Timberwolves and Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets. I’ve secured the top spots in this Game 6 battle for our NBA same-game parlay bet. The playoff atmosphere is ignited with this second-round matchup set to tip, and there are many bets to explore.

I will stick to our winning strategy, which has been consistently successful all season, and construct our best NBA parlay today using a combo of NBA game picks. After meticulously reviewing all the odds, I have assembled a three-leg parlay. Let’s delve into the best bets for the Timberwolves vs. Nuggets, ensuring you are fully informed for your betting decisions.

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Parlay Bets

Timberwolves Moneyline 1st Quarter (-135)

This is an absolute desperation spot for the Timberwolves. Luckily for the Wolves, tonight’s game will be played in front of their home crowd. Minnesota finds themselves in a win-or-go-home scenario, so I expect the Wolves to come out with a fire lit under them early. Denver has led four of five games in this series after the first quarter. I expect some regression for Denver early on the road.

Minnesota was the worst team covering the spread in the first quarter this season, but with everything on the line tonight, I expect the team to come out motivated to flip that switch. Denver had had zero answers for the Timberwolves’ defense in Games 1 and 2. Minnesota will throw the kitchen sink at the Nuggets and attempt to replicate what it did to start the series. The Timberwolves should come out and give the Nuggets their best punch.

Timberwolves Moneyline vs. Nuggets (-135)

I’m expecting this series to go to a Game 7 this Sunday. This could be a bit of a conspiracy, but my gut tells me the NBA wants to have at least one Game 7 on Sunday. The other could be the Knicks and Pacers if Indiana can extend that series on Friday night. Minnesota is coming off its third straight loss – the first time it has dropped three consecutive games in the entire season. The Wolves went 22-4 during the regular season after a loss. Minnesota was 30-11 at home during the regular season.

Over the last week of the playoffs, favorites coming off a loss have gone 3-1. The Nuggets were one of the worst road teams ATS during the regular season, at 17-23-1. I’m rolling with the home team, expecting this series to go seven games.

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Total Under 205 Points (-110)

With the Timberwolves expected to take this game at home, I also expect their defense to be turned up to the max. This should lead to the total going UNDER 205 points tonight. The Nuggets were the best under bet all season long, and they have seen the under-go 53-39, including the playoffs in Denver’s games.

History also suggests this game will go under the total, with nine of the previous 11 Game 6s in the second round of the playoffs going under (81.8%). The total has gone over in all three Nuggets wins this series and under in Minnesota’s victories. I’m siding with history and expect the Timberwolves’ top-ranked defense from the regular season to step up to the challenge and win this game.
