The Milwaukee Bucks came through big on two fronts, as predicted, in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. First, Milwaukee walloped the Phoenix Suns by a dub, or in layman’s terms, an even 20 points, to cover the chalk as four-point home favorites.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and company also topped 113 total points, as predicted, to increase the annual basketball betting bankroll on two fronts on Sunday. Now, with Milwaukee looking to even the Finals at 2-2 by taking care of business at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday night, a trio of total and props odds picks look like a value-packed venture. The NBA betting odds for Game 3 are live in the BetUS online sportsbook right now.

Suns Fail to Shine
Phoenix has been phenomenal throughout the playoffs, but the Suns didn’t shine in Game 3. Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton both scored 18 points and Chris Paul had 19 points and nine assists. However, Phoenix got next to nothing from team scoring leader Devin Booker. The All-Star shooting guard was held to just 10 points on 3-of-14 shooting and 1 of 7 from beyond the arc.
“I said it after last game. This team’s not going to give in. They’re going to keep playing all the way through,” Booker said of Milwaukee. “So we have to bring that same effort that we had in the first two games and I think we’ll be in good shape.”
Fear the Deer is Real at Home
Milwaukee is 8-1 at home in the playoffs and cemented their status as a difficult team to beat at Fiserv Forum by spanking Phoenix 120-100 in Game 3. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 41 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in the NBA Finals’ return to Milwaukee
“We got better between (Games) 1 and 2, and 2 and 3,” Antetokounmpo said. “We just got to keep building. That’s our goal.”
Jrue Holiday finally showed up by scoring 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field and 5 of 10 from downtown. Khris Middleton added 18 points while Bobby Portis and Brook Lopez each contributed 11 points.
The Bucks outscored the Suns 30-9 over the last nine minutes of the second quarter, then ripped off 16 straight points to finish off the third.
Suns Team Total 108
Analysis: Phoenix was held to 92 points or fewer twice on the road in the Western Conference finals. More importantly, I believe the Suns and Paul in particular, are going to try to keep the pace of Game 4 relatively slow in order to keep Milwaukee’s league-leading offense from reaching the same 120 points it averaged during the regular season.
The under is 4-1 in the Suns’ last five games following an against-the-spread loss and 4-1-2 in their last seven games as an underdog. Expect Phoenix to try to turn Game 4 into a low-scoring affair. The Suns easily stay under 108 total points.
Pick: Under 108 Team Points
Bucks Team Total 112½
Analysis: Milwaukee has scored at least 120 points in three straight home playoff games and at least 113 points in its last four games at Fiserv Forum.
Milwaukee will try – and succeed – at reaching the 113-point plateau in Game 4 as Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton show up in a big way again. The fact of the matter is that Milwaukee’s two other All-Star caliber performers play a lot freer and more comfortable at home than on the road and this is definitely a must-win matchup for the Bucks.
Pick: Bucks Over 112½ Team Points
Bucks to win by 7-9 pts +750
Analysis: Milwaukee has won three straight at home by at least 11 points and I believe the Bucks are good for at least a seven-point win in Game 4. The Bucks can ill afford to drop Game 4 and I believe their level of desperation will lead them to a convincing but not a blowout win on Wednesday.
The Bucks are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games against a team with a winning road record. Despite their excellence this postseason, the Suns are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on two days’ rest.
If you like Milwaukee to win by 10-13 points, the return is +650, but if you like the Bucks to get it done by 14-16 points, you could get a stupendous return of +1100. Still, I’m going with the Bucks by 7-9 points.
Pick: Bucks to win by 7-9 pts +750
