The NBA trade deadline has come and gone, and we’re just a few days away from the NBA All-Star break. This is always a tricky time of the season to make NBA predictions. Once the break is over, we’ll know which teams are vying for a playoff spot and which could be tanking while looking ahead to next season and beyond.

The NBA delivered more memorable moments during Monday’s action. I’m back breaking down Tuesday’s short six-game slate and looking to cash a sweep with my best NBA prop bets for Tuesday, February 13. Before diving into Tuesday’s slate, here’s a quick recap of what you missed on Monday night.

Monday NBA Recap

On Monday, rookie Victor Wembanyama showed off his incredible ceiling, notching his second career triple-double with 27 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks!

The struggles for the Milwaukee Bucks appear to be on the mend as they crushed the defending champs 112-95. The Pelicans and Warriors also cruised to victories against weak opponents. Golden State has five consecutive wins.

The Mavericks overcame a late fourth-quarter deficit at home against the Wizards behind a triple-double from Luka Doncic. The dogs were barking last night. We saw five games finish with an upset. Notably, the Charlotte Hornets shocked the Pacers.

The battle between Western Conference dynamites saw the Timberwolves defeat the Clippers to strengthen their grip on the top seed out West.

Tuesday night’s schedule features six matchups. The TNT doubleheader pegs the Orlando Magic at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. We’ll see the Phoenix Suns host the Sacramento Kings in the second TNT game.

The Lakers and Celtics will also be in action. There are plenty of NBA player prop bets to select from, so let’s not waste more time. Here are Tuesday’s best basketball bets online.

Best NBA Player Props Today

Heat SG Tyler Herro Over 4½ Rebounds (-186)

I was surprised to see this line on Herro against the Milwaukee Bucks. Miami is shorthanded right now, and Herro will be the one to lead the charge for them. The Bucks are playing on a back-to-back after taking down the Nuggets on Monday night, so I expect one or two main guys to sit for Milwaukee.

Herro has stepped up this season when Jimmy Butler has missed time. He’s averaging 5.8 rebounds per game this season without Butler, hitting this line in 10 of 12 games. He grabbed eight rebounds in the previous matchup with Milwaukee. The Bucks are a bottom-10 rebounding team against opposing guards. He has hit this line in 22 of 32 healthy games this season. The Heat will also be missing Josh Richardson and Terry Rozier, so Herro will see an even more significant uptick.

Suns SG Devin Booker Over 5 ½ Assists (-145)

The Suns host the Kings and should be out for blood. Phoenix is a half-game ahead of the Kings in the standings, and I think they are going to go on a tear for the rest of the season. They are a great NBA spreads pick tonight.

The Kings are allowing the eight-most assists per game, and Booker leads the Suns, averaging 7.1 assists per game. He has gone over this line in four of his last five meetings with Sacramento, including recording 11, seven and seven assists since the Suns acquired Kevin Durant and Jusuf Nurkic. Sacramento is 20th in defensive rating, so you can book it with Booker on Tuesday night.

Lakers PF Anthony Davis Over 24½ Points (-157)

The Lakers match up with the Detroit Pistons at home on the front end of a back-to-back. The Lakers will travel to Utah for their final game before the All-Star break. I expect Anthony Davis and LeBron James to suit up tonight. One of them will possibly rest on Wednesday to get an extra day before the break. Davis has a great matchup for the Lakers to exploit on the offensive end.

Detroit is tied with Portland with the fourth-most points allowed per game in the paint. The Pistons have allowed the seventh-most points per game to opposing centers in the NBA this season (23.8). The Pistons have allowed the second-most free throw attempts per game (26.3). Davis eats at the line, averaging the 10th-most free throws per game. He is scoring 65.5% of his points in the paint and 22% of his points from the free throw line. A perfect combo to crush tonight.

AD has a strong track record against the Pistons. He has exceeded this line in 13 of his last 16 matchups with Detroit, including the prior meeting this season, where he finished with 28 points. AD has dominated this matchup, and he will again tonight.
