Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Props: Dejounte Murray Steps Up

We kicked off the week with a clean sweep with our NBA player prop bets, and I’m looking to carry that momentum into Tuesday’s massive 11-game slate. Each team has roughly 25 games remaining on the regular season schedule, and every night from here will have playoff implications. Before we dive into Tuesday’s NBA betting lines, here’s a quick recap of Monday’s action.

The Raptors outlasted the Pacers behind a triple-double from Scottie Barnes. The Nets ran the Grizzlies out of the gym in Memphis, and the Heat surprised everyone with an upset over the Kings despite being undermanned. The game of the night was in MSG, with the Knicks getting a last-second bucket from Josh Hart following a chaotic final 20 seconds.

Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Props: Dejounte Murray Steps Up

On Tuesday, we have a handful of elite head-to-heads. The Knicks will battle the Pelicans, and the Cavs host Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. The TNT doubleheader features the NBA-leading Celtics at home versus the 76ers, followed by the Thunder at home against the Rockets.

There are several games worth watching and plenty of player props to select from for Tuesday. I’ve done the research, so you don’t have to. Let’s get to the best NBA props bets today.

Best NBA Player Props Today

1. Cavaliers PF Evan Mobley Over 14½ Points (-114)

The Cavaliers host the Mavericks, who are on the second stop of their five-game road trip. The Cavs have cooled off after being one of the hottest teams in the NBA in the New Year. Still, they have quietly been playing great basketball, winning eight of their last 11 games, and are getting healthy at the right time, including Evan Mobley.

Mobley’s minutes restriction was lifted, and he is averaging 29.8 minutes per game over his last five. In the last 19 games, he has been on the floor for at least 27 minutes; he has scored at least 14 points in 17 of them.

Mobley has scored at least 14 points in 8 of 10 games in February. The Mavericks have allowed the fifth-most points per game to opposing power forwards (25.75 ppg). Dallas is lacking the size necessary to slow down the duo of Jarrett Allen and Mobley, so consider that when betting on the NBA tonight. For what it’s worth, I also like Mobley to go over his rebounding prop betting line in this matchup.

2. Hawks PG Dejounte Murray Over 8½ Assists (-167)

Life without Trae Young has begun in Atlanta after it was announced the All-Star point guard will miss at least the next month after undergoing surgery on his left hand.

Young has been the subject of trade talks, and this might be the nail in the coffin that will force Atlanta to move Young in the upcoming offseason. This means Dejounte Murray has a clear runway to lead the Hawks.

In six games without Young this season, Murray has averaged nine assists, finishing with 10, 9, 11, 6, 7, and most recently, 11 assists. If we widen the lens to last season, Murray averages 8.6 assists per game without Young and has gone over this line in seven of 13 games. Atlanta hosts the Utah Jazz tonight, who allow the second-most assists per game in the NBA.

3. Bucks PF Giannis Antetokounmpo 19+ Rebounds/Assists (-157)

We’re headed to the streets of Milwaukee for our next NBA bet. Don’t look now, but the Bucks appear to be poised to go on a run. They get the horrible Hornets at home tonight as massive 14-point favorites.

This game has blowout written all over it. Only the Wizards have allowed more production to opposing frontcourts. Antetokounmpo has a strong track record against the Hornets. He has exceeded this line in eight of his last 11 healthy matchups with Charlotte. The Hornets have allowed the 10th-most rebounds per game (52.4) and the fourth-most assists per game (28.4) overall. Charlotte owns the 27th-worst defense and is bottom-five in shooting. I’m confident the Greek Freak will eat again tonight as the Bucks continue their surge.

4. Blazers PG Anfernee Simons Over 3½ Made Threes (+125)

Our fourth and final NBA pro bet is a plus-money banger in Portland. Last night, we cashed on Keegan Murray at plus-money against the Heat, and tonight I’m turning to Anfernee Simons. He’s coming off an abysmal shooting night, but he should bounce back nicely tonight in the matchup with the Heat.

In his last four matchups against Miami, he has made 4, 3, 6, and 5 three-pointers. Erik Spoelstra and his zone-heavy defense are susceptible to three-point attempts. Miami allows the seventh-most three-point attempts per game and is tied with the sixth-most threes allowed per game. He is over this line in eight of his last 13 games. I like Simon’s chances of lighting it up from beyond the arc.
