With Bucks Desperate, Props Odds in Spotlight

Will two-time MVP winner Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a performance for the ages to help keep the Milwaukee Bucks’ championship hopes alive? Will the aptly named “Greek Freak” get the help he so clearly needs from teammates Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday on Thursday night?

Milwaukee’s best players get upstaged for the second consecutive game by Brooklyn’s Kevin Durant? With the Milwaukee Bucks looking to force a Game 7 showdown, the NBA props odds surrounding Game 6 are value-packed in the BetUS online sportsbook to say the least.

Kevin Durant Total Points, Rebounds and Assists

Over 52½ Pts+Rebs+Assists -115

Under 52½ Pts+Rebs+Assists -115

Analysis

In 10 playoff games, Durant is averaging 33.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists for a combined total of 46.6 points, boards, and assists per game. While KD went off for a mind-boggling triple-double of 49 points,  17 rebounds and 10 rebounds assist in Game 5, that has been his only playoff performance where he’s topped this combined figure.

“I know the perception of me is that I can score the basketball well, but any team that I’ve played on, I’ve been asked to do pretty much everything from rebounding to defending to initiating to scoring,” Durant said. “I might not do it all the time but I do a little bit of everything.”

Keep it simple. The percentages say Durant comes up short of topping this big figure.

Pick: Under 52½ Pts+Rebs+Assists (-115)

Kevin Durant Total Points

Over 36½ Points Ev

Under 36½ Points -130

Analysis

Durant has scored at least 37 points only three times this postseason, but I’m expecting him to go for at least another 40 points to help Brooklyn have a legitimate chance of winning Game 6. I like the over.

Pick: Over 36½ Points (Ev)

Jrue Holiday Total Points and Assists

Over 25½ Points+Assists -125

Under 25½ Points+Assists -105

Analysis

In nine playoff games, the widely respected Holiday is averaging a modest 14.8 points and 7.8 assists. Holiday went for 19 points and eight assists in Game 5 on Tuesday night and has topped this figure three times this postseason. With Milwaukee completely and utterly desperate to extend its season one more game, I believe Holiday is going to narrowly top this figure again. What Holiday needs to do is stop complaining and play ball.

Pick: Over 25½ Points+Assists (-125)

Khris Middleton Total Points

Over 24½ Points -120

Under 24½ Points -110

Analysis

Middleton is averaging 21.7 points in the postseason. The shooting guard scored 25 points in Game 5 and has scored 25 or more three times. If Middleton doesn’t get 25 points in Game 6, the Bucks won’t win. I’m going to back the frustrating wannabe star to narrowly reach 25 points.

Pick: Over 24½ Points (-120)

Giannis Antetokounmpo Total Points+Rebounds

Over 46½ Total Points+Rebounds -120

Under 46½ Total Points+Rebounds -110

Analysis

Antetokounmpo is averaging 27.4 points and 13.3 rebounds for a total of 40.7 combined points and rebounds per game in the playoffs. Antetokounmpo went for 34 points and 12 rebounds in Games 4 and 5 after putting up 33 points and 14 boards in Game 3.

However, Antetokounmpo has only managed to top this combined figure once in the playoffs. This NBA player props pick is going to be super close, but the percentages say Antetokounmpo finishes just under  46½ total points and rebounds.

Pick: Under 46½ Total Points+Rebounds (-110)
