NFL Announces Record Number of International Games for 2025
NFL Aims for World Domination
People overseas can’t still love soccer or any other sport while also enjoying American football.
The NFL has asserted dominance over the sports world in the United States. No other sport is close to football when it comes to ratings.

However, the NFL’s not nearly as big around the world. While Americans love the sport, most countries favor other sports like soccer or hockey.
The NFL is already making absurd amounts of money in the United States, but that’s not enough. They are working hard to get relevance overseas.
The league announced the NFL news that there will be seven NFL international games played in 2025, ahead of the NFL schedule release date. That’ll be the most in league history.

Get Your Passport Ready
In Week 1, the Chargers are playing Sao Paulo, Brazil, against a team to be announced, but reports are saying it’ll be against the Chiefs.
Week 4 sees the Vikings face off with the Steelers in Dublin, Ireland. These will be the first NFL teams to play
The Vikings will stay in the UK in Week 5 as they play the Cleveland Browns in London, England. London will then get three straight weeks of NFL football: the Broncos and Jets face off in Week 6, and the Rams play the Jaguars the following week.
The Falcons play the Colts in Berlin, Germany, in Week 10. The international series will wrap up in Week 11 when the Commanders play the Dolphins in Madrid, Spain. This will also be the first NFL game played in Madrid.

Can the NFL Assert International Dominance?
The NFL has an uphill battle trying to become a powerhouse internationally. However, the sports fans are every bit as intense.
If the NFL can figure out how to get fans in other countries to care about NFL scores, it could make the league one of the most powerful entertainment entities in the world. In the United States, people care about multiple sports with a lot of passion.
There’s no reason people overseas can’t still love soccer or any other sport while also enjoying American football.
