Straight Up
The Browns enter with a 2-1 record as well as a 2-game winning streak. Fresh off a dominant 34-20 win over Washington, Cleveland is rewarded by facing off against what is considered to be the team to beat in the NFC East. However good they’ve looked throughout the season, Dallas has been unable to win the close ones. The mark of a good team is that they find a way to win tough matches. The Cowboys haven’t shown that. Moreover, their one win on the season had more to do with the Falcons’ mishaps than Dallas’ accomplishments.
I see this one being a close one and the Browns out-gritting the Cowboys to advance to 3-1. I don’t have much respect for Mike McCarthy and I don’t see how he can lead his team, who’s down in the stumps, to a win against a hot Cleveland team.
Against the Spread
The Cleveland Browns are heating up, and scoring lots of points. Cleveland has scored 69 points in their last two games, employing a frightfully balanced offensive attack. Over the last two contests, the Browns have gained 361 yards through the air and 373 on the ground. QB Baker Mayfield has been a pretty efficient game manager, and RB Nick Chubb is simply a barrelling beast. Chubb has bullied his way to 232 rushing yards and four touchdowns during the Browns’ modest two-game winning streak.
It’s clear that the Dallas Cowboys’ defense has issues. After suffering a low-scoring loss to the Rams in Week 1, the Dallas D has been a bombing zone. The Cowboys have given up 77 points in two games, to the Falcons and Seahawks. If Atlanta weren’t cursed, Dallas would be 0-3 heading into this matchup with Cleveland.
Yes, the Cowboys have a potent offense, but so do the Browns. The difference is that the Dallas defense is ranked 26th in total yards allowed, while Cleveland is ranked ninth in that category. The Cowgirls will probably find a way to win a desperation game at home here, but the Brown-stains will cover the spread.

Over/Under
The Indianapolis Colts have found a balanced offense with QB Philip Rivers, WR’s Zach Pascal, T.Y. Hilton, TE Mo Alie-Cox and RB Jonathan Taylor.
They average 28 points per game and the total has gone under in 4 of their last 6 games.
Nick Foles is the new starting QB for the Chicago Bears and their offense should be a lot better.
Right now, the Bears average 24.7 points per game and the total has gone under in 5 of their last 6 games at home. Go under in a close one.
