The Denver Broncos head to LA for a late-season showdown against the Los Angeles Rams with nothing to play for. Both teams are among the biggest disappointments in the NFL, especially the Rams, who are less than 12 months removed from winning the Super Bowl.
Despite having nothing to play for, the show must go on, and we can still make a few bucks on these two painfully bad teams.
Let’s check the latest NFL odds, stats, injury reports, and NFL lines for Broncos vs Rams. We’ve plenty of Vegas NFL odds and NFL week 16 picks for you to consider.
Broncos vs Rams Betting Lines
Wilson Returning for Broncos
The Broncos’ quarterback situation went from bad to abandon ship in a hurry after Brett Rypien took over. Yes, he guided the Broncos to a win against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15, but he failed to pass for 200 yards, threw a pick, and was sacked seven times.
Latavius Murray was the star of the show with 130 yards rushing. If not for him, Denver would have been in trouble.
Russell Wilson returns to the lineup after missing last week’s game despite having cleared the league’s concussion protocol. He had his most productive game of an otherwise forgettable first season in Denver with three TD passes against Kansas City in Week 14.
However, despite going 1-5 over the last six weeks, there is hope for Broncos bettors. That is because Denver is 3-0 against the spread in the previous three weeks with wins over the Cardinals, Chiefs, and Baltimore Ravens.
There isn’t much to like about Denver’s offense, though the defense remains top-notch with an average of 18.1 points per game surrendered.
As if the Broncos already didn’t have enough problems, their injury report has been growing all week. Notably, Murray was limited at practice all week and is questionable with a foot injury. Wideout Courtland Sutton is among four other players listed as questionable. While four questionable tags are not bad, Denver added three players to IR in the last week.
Rams Continue to Embarrass Themselves
The Los Angeles Rams came crashing back to earth in Week 15, just days after securing their first win in nearly two months. After squeaking by the Las Vegas Raiders 17-16, Baker Mayfield and Co. went into Green Bay and got spanked by the Packers 24-12. Mayfield passed for a mere 111 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
And just like that, the Rams were eliminated from the playoffs in what has been a historically bad season for Los Angeles.
Their results against the spread are just as bad, with a 4-9-1 ATS record and an abysmal return on investment of -38.76%. If you bet the Rams to cover every game this season, you’d be down 5.95 units and pretty unhappy about it.
The situation is only slightly better when the Rams are at home with a 3-5 record ATS and an ROI of -28.98%.

Broncos vs Rams Picks & Prediction
Predicted Score: Broncos 23, Rams 20
- Worth Betting on the Moneyline?
The Broncos, as underdogs, present some value. But the truth is, I don’t trust either one of these teams to win this game.
- Worth Betting ATS?
Same as the spread. The underdogs hold some value, but not for me. Neither team is in a position to woo me into wasting money on them.
- Worth Betting on the Totals?
Yes. Because both offenses are awful, this game will be a primarily defensive battle. Denver fields one of the best defenses in the league while the Rams have a top red-zone defense. This means points will be at a premium.
Take the under, then change the channel and watch something else.
