**Odds as of 10/05/2021**

With week 4 wrapped up, the Denver Broncos (3-1) will head east to Heinz Field to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers (1-3) in an AFC week 5 matchup. The Broncos are coming off their first loss to the Baltimore Ravens 23-7 while the Steelers dropped their third straight game, 27-17 to the Green Bay Packers. Early NFL betting odds have the Steelers as the -1 home favorite with the point total set at 40.

Denver quarterback Teddy Bridgewater exited Sunday’s game with a concussion and it looks like Drew Lock will prepare as the starter for Week 5. Bridgewater threw a touchdown pass and committed no turnovers for the fourth straight week. However, the offense failed to move the ball after he left the game, and the offensive line allowed five sacks.

The Bronco’s defense continues to be one of the best in the league. Denver is allowing just 267 yards per game and 12 points. Vic Fangio’s squad brought Lamar Jackson to the ground three times and held the Ravens to just 102 rushing yards. They’ll look to rebound against a struggling Pittsburgh offense.

Ben Roethlisberger and the offense continue to be inconsistent and are turning the ball over. The quarterback has been intercepted four times in his last three games and fumbled three times in his last four. In addition, the Steelers are last in the league in rushing, averaging just 55 yards. Clearly, the offense isn’t what it was in the past.

On the defensive side, the Steelers are still solid. They have a strong defensive line led by T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith but have been disastrous against the pass. They will return home and look to rebound against Denver.
