The winless Lions will take on the Los Angeles Rams in LA at SoFI Stadium for an NFC battle in Week 7 NFL action. The Detroit Lions dropped their sixth game in a row to the Bengals in embarrassing fashion 34-11.

Meanwhile, the Ram excelled last week, securing their fifth win of the year, cruising past the Giants 38-11. Early NFL odds have the Rams as whopping 15-point favorites home favorites, with the point total set at 50.

The Detroit Lions finally played drama-free football last Sunday, but were on the wrong side of an ugly loss as the Bengals ran away with an easy blowout in Detroit. The Lions looked miserable on both sides of the ball; the offense recorded one net yard in the first quarter and were shut out in the first half for the third time in four weeks.

The Lions’ defense stood strong in the first half but allowed two scoring drives on the Bengals’ first two possessions of the second half en route to 420 total yards conceded. The defense now ranks 25th in the league, and are allowing opponents an atrocious 28.7 points per game.

In their 27-point win over the Giants, the Rams scored an incredible five touchdowns and one field goal. Matthew Stafford had a field day tossing four touchdowns through the air, while Darrell Henderson rushed for one more. The eighth-ranked offense was on cruise control and are now averaging 401 total yards per game and almost 30 points.

The defense has rebounded nicely after giving up 37 points to the Cardinals in Week 4; the Rams have conceded just 28 points in their last two games. The Rams defensive unit came away with three interceptions and four sacks against the Giants, and they should have another stellar performance against a winless Lions team.
