Green Bay Stumbles into Philly
Sunday Night Football odds will be in the City of Brotherly Love, as the Philadelphia Eagles play host to the Green Bay Packers.
After losing 27-17 to the Tennessee Titans, Green Bay is +650 to make the playoffs, per NFL lines. The Packers (4-7) could surely use another upset win over an NFC East foe. Philadelphia (9-1) is looking to hold on to the NFC’s top seed by amassing another winning streak. The Eagles have not played up to their standard, failing to cover three consecutive games against the spread (ATS).

Let’s check the latest NFL odds, stats, injury reports, and NFL lines for Packers vs Eagles. We’ve plenty of Vegas NFL odds and NFL week 12 picks for you to consider.
Packers vs Eagles Betting Lines
Packers Lack Consistency
The Green Bay Packers’ high didn’t last for long, as they fell on TNF odds. Unlike its outstanding rushing day in the win over the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay averaged only 2.9 yards per carry against the Titans.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has put together back-to-back solid performances, while rookie wideout Christian Watson continues to emerge. However, Green Bay does not have the pieces for the passing game to carry the load.
At least Watson is becoming an intriguing prop option after totaling five touchdowns in the last two games. Look for the Packers to run the rock consistently, but will they find success? The Eagles allowed only 3.8 yards per carry last week.
Green Bay has gone over in two consecutive games thanks to the defense’s streaky play. The secondary allowed over 250 passing yards against the Cowboys and Titans. The Packers have misused cornerback Jaire Alexander for most of the season, leading to a mediocre season for the former All-Pro. Green Bay must finally task Alexander with trailing a star receiver, as Philadelphia’s wide receiver A.J. Brown is a formidable threat.
For Week 12, starting linebackers De’Vondre Campbell (knee) and Quay Walker (shoulder) are questionable. The defense already ranks 24th in allowed rushing yards per game. Without its top two tacklers, the run defense could struggle.
Eagles Offense Has Been Grounded
Through their first seven games, the Philadelphia Eagles were a reliable bet, going 5-2 ATS. Should bettors be hesitant to back Philly after it failed to cover in three straight? It’s worth digging into matchups more thoroughly, instead of assuming the Eagles will comfortably win in every game.
Philadelphia is averaging 19 points over the last two games, compared to its season average of 26.3 points (fourth). The Eagles have not reached 200 passing yards in either game. In the previous game, Philly called more designed quarterbacks runs than normal, as Jalen Hurts finished with 18 carries. A prop on rushing yards for Hurts seems promising.
On the injury front, rookie defensive tackle Jordan Davis will be out once again with an ankle injury. He is a huge piece of the run defense. The Eagles responded by adding veterans Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh, both of whom played well in their debuts in Week 11. Also, starting tight end Dallas Goedert will be out a few more games. This does not bode well for the passing game, as he has 544 receiving yards.
Packers vs Eagles Game Injuries
Packers vs Eagles Head-to-Head
The Packers have won six of the last eight games against the Eagles and have won three consecutive games in Philadelphia. Also, Green Bay is 3-1 ATS in the last four meetings.
Since their last meeting in 2020, the Eagles have become a contender and the Packers are nearly out of the playoff race. This could be the season when Philadelphia takes control of the series going forward.

Packers vs Eagles Picks & Prediction
Predicted Score: Eagles 24, Packers 13
- Worth betting on the Moneyline?
Steer away from the Moneyline in this one. Green Bay priced at +250 is not worth the risk, and the Eagles are heavy favorites at -300. The Packers are stumbling and sloppy weather will only make it tougher.
- Worth Betting ATS?
Look for the Eagles to snap their three-game slide ATS. While getting the passing game going will be tough in rainy weather with winds, Philadelphia can move the ball with a dynamic run game.
Last week, Hurts was deployed more often as a runner, which comes at a perfect time going into this matchup. Philly ranks sixth in rushing yards per game, and Green Bay is 26th in run defense. As mentioned, the Packers could be without linebackers Campbell and Walker, which only makes their situation worse.
- Worth Betting on the Totals?
Betting the under on the 46½ total seems safe. The weather could limit both passing games, and the Packers have gone under in four of five road games. The Eagles also went under last week for the first time in over a month.
- Tempting Props?
One of my favorite props of the week is Hurts scoring a rushing touchdown and hitting the over on his projected rushing yard total. He has back-to-back games with rushing touchdowns, and Hurts has scored a rushing touchdown in every game with over 10 carries.
