The Colts are 0-3 for the first time since 2012 and hope to turn things around when they head to Miami. Meanwhile, the Dolphins’ (1-2) comeback attempt against the Las Vegas Raiders fell short in an overtime loss 31-28.

The latest NFL betting odds predict this game to be a close, hard-fought matchup as Miami is the slight home favorite -1½, with the total set at 43½.

The high-powered offense that head coach Frank Reich usually leads looks lost as the Indianapolis Colts have not been able to find a rhythm. Dynamic running back Johnathan Taylor was only able to touch the ball 10 times totaling 64 yards, often calling on Carson Wentz to throw the ball. With a depleted receiving corps, Wentz completed just 19 of 37 passes for 197 yards.

The injuries are mounting for this Colts team. With a plethora of great players on the shelf already, the Colts expected more players out as star guard Quinten Nelson was rolled onto and left the game with a high ankle sprain. In addition, first-rounder Kwity Paye left the game against the Titans with a hamstring injury.

The Miami Dolphins traveled west to Allegiant Stadium to face the Raiders, and the team put up a competitive game. The team got off to a hot start defensively when Elandon Roberts picked off Raider quarterback Derek Carr for an 85-yard touchdown. The Dolphins defense kept a high-powered Raider offense in check, getting out to a 14-0 lead; however, the Raiders scored 25 unanswered points until the 4th quarter.

Jacoby Brisset and the Miami offense looked pretty stagnant at times, but the backup quarterback led a fantastic 4th quarter comeback drive that saw him barrel in for a rushing touchdown that tied the game with two seconds left in the 4th quarter.

Ultimately, the comeback fell just short, but Brisset finished strong, going 32 for 49 in the air for 215 yards, and got Mike Gesicki and Jaylen Waddle heavily involved in the game with ten receptions each.
