Jacksonville Jaguars
This is a big year for the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Peterson at the wheel and a healthy offense heading into Sunday’s opener. Lawrence lost DJ Chark to free agency (Detroit Lions), but the Jags responded by signing Christian Kirk. Evan Ingram also makes his Jaguars; debut.
The Jacksonville running game also gets a lot better, with Travis Etienne Jr. making his regular-season debut after missing his rookie year with an injured foot. He will inject a lot of production into this offense, and the former first-rounder could be the missing ingredient.
Washington Commanders
Things in Washington have been disastrous, continually. As the Washington Commanders enter the 2022 season, little has changed. This team is a mess, again, To be fair, it’s not all the fault of the team, considering their starting running back Brian Robinson is out of action (gunshot wound). However, this team has far more problems than that. Multiple injuries all over the field, including pass rusher Chase Young.
If there’s bright spot on the team, it’s Terry McLaurin, who will lead this team in receiving again. With new quarterback Carson Wentz, and a sketchy offensive line, numbers won’t be as high.

Jacksonville’s injury list is are minimal, but it does include WR Willie Johnson and DE Jordan Smith. Additionally, LB Folorunso Fatukasi is questionable. Washington is already beset by a slew of injuries. There DE Chase Young and seven other players, including TE Curtis Hodgers, RB Brian Robinson and G Willie Beavers.
WR Cam Sims, TE Cole Turner, S Kamren Curl and TE Logan Thomas are questionable.
