Miami Tries to Keep AFC East Title Hopes Alive
With their grip on the playoffs slipping away and their offense suddenly struggling to score, the last thing the Miami Dolphins need is a bad-weather game against the Buffalo Bills.
But that is precisely what they might get in a special Saturday night game at Highmark Stadium as snow showers and temperatures in the mid to upper 20s are forecasted for the AFC East clash.

The Dolphins have lost two straight games to fall into the No. 6 seed in the AFC, one game ahead of the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Chargers, and New York Jets. Only two of those teams will make the playoffs and the Dolphins close the season with the Patriots and Jets.
“You’ve got to pay the piper at some point,” head coach Mike McDaniel told the media. “It’s about giving your all and when it doesn’t work out, getting better from it, not worse.”
The Bills, who lost in Miami 21-19 in Week 3, have gone the other way, winning four straight games and are being given better than a 90% chance to repeat as AFC East champions.
Buffalo, which is 9-3, has a path to 12 wins with games against the Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and the Patriots. Only the Cincinnati Bengals present a possible stumbling block.

Dolphins vs Bills Betting Odds
Waddle Quiet in Back-to-Back Losses
In the first 11 games of the season, Jaylen Waddle averaged five receptions and 87.5 yards, but that production all but dried up in the recent two losses for the Dolphins, including last week’s game against the Chargers, during which quarterback Tua Tagavailoa completed just 35.7% of his passes, the lowest competition percentage for a Miami QB since David Woodley in 1980.
Waddle went for 102 yards on six catches in the win over Buffalo earlier this season, and the Dolphins will need a similar performance from the second-year pro to come away with a win.
Diggs Operating as Solo Act for Bills
The Bills are still waiting for someone to grab hold of the spot opposite Stefon Diggs, who has 56 more catches and 543 more yards than second-leading receiver Gabe Davis, who is the deep threat but has a similar number of catches as Isaiah McKenzie and Dawson Knox.
Cole Beasley, who had 82 catches last season as a complement to Diggs, was seen in town, sparking rumors of a return to aid a passing game that hasn’t topped 253 yards in the last four games. The Bills won those games thanks partly to the legs of quarterback Josh Allen, who will soon pass Devin Singletary to become Buffalo’s leading rusher this season.

Dolphins vs Bills Picks & Prediction
Predicted Score Bills 27, Dolphins 16
- Worth Betting on the Moneyline?
If you think Miami can spring the upset at +280, you will be handsomely rewarded, but taking the Bills at -350 in a division game is hardly a sound investment.
- Worth Betting ATS?
The Bills should win this game by 10 to 13 points, so take them to cover the spread.
- Worth Betting on the Totals?
If the Miami offense from earlier in the season shows up, this should be an easy overcover. If not, this game could finish right at or near the number.
