Against the Spread
The Bengals have lost five of their last six games, and are spiraling down a dark hole. Losing QB Joe Burrow for the remainder of the season is a tough pill to swallow, and Cincinnati’s in trouble. Both the Giants and Bengals have been great against the spread this season, but Cinci’s numbers must be re-analyzed post-Burrow. NY is 7-3 ATS in 2020, with a perfect record of 5-0 ATS on the road this year. The Bengals will certainly rally around their fallen captain and put forth a valiant effort, but it won’t be enough. Cincinnati has Ryan Finley under center and starting RB Joe Mixon is still on the IR. The Bengals allowed 36 sacks this season on Burrow, so Finley can expect to get trampled by NY’s punishing pass rush as well. Cincinnati’s D keeps them in the game for a while but eventually tires out. The G-men cover the six-point spread in a low-scoring grinder game. Giants 24, Bengals 13
Daniel Jones and the New York Giants come from their bye week.
With Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate well rested and fully healthy the Giants’ offense should be a lot better.
ones is becoming a good running quarterback (with limitations), but he has been able to extend plays.
The Giants average 19.5 points per game (third worst in the league) and the total has gone under in seven of their last eight games against an opponent from the AFC North.
oe Burrow is out for the rest of the season, which means the Cincinnati Bengals will have Ryan Finley under center. RB Mixon remains out due to injury.
The Bengals average 21.3 points per game and the total has gone over in four of their last five games.
