Bengals vs Chiefs Odds

The Cincinnati Bengals will face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Bengals earned a spot in the AFC title game thanks to a huge victory over the Tennessee Titans 19-16 in the Divisional Round. Meanwhile, the Chiefs picked up a thrilling shootout win over the Buffalo Bills 42-36 in overtime. Early NFL odds opened with the Chiefs as -7 favorites and with the point total set at 54½.

The Bengals advanced to the conference championship game for the first time since the 1988 season, after outlasting the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card round and taking out top-seeded Tennessee on the road. In the win over the Titans, the Bengals’ defense was outstanding. Cincinnati intercepted Ryan Tannehill three times, added one sack and held Tennessee to 16 points.

Despite being sacked nine times, Joe Burrow threw for 348 yards and became the first quarterback selected No. 1 overall to win a divisional game within his first two seasons. Cincinnati visiting beat Kansas City 34-31 on Jan. 2, making this game a must-watch.

The Kansas City Chiefs emerged victorious after a back-and-forth battle against the Bills. In an offensive brawl, the Chiefs’ offense and Patrick Mahomes were ultimately too much for Buffalo to handle as they totaled 552 yards. Mahomes threw for 378 yards and three touchdowns and owns the most career passing touchdowns (25) by a QB in his first 10 playoff games.

The Bengals and Chiefs clashed in Week 17 and Kansas City suffered one of its most painful losses of the season. After giving up 422 yards and four touchdowns to Josh Allen, the defense will need to play better against a strong Cincy offense.
