After both teams won their divisional playoff games on last-second field goals, the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will meet in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday at SoFi Stadium (6:30 p.m. ET, FOX).
The 49ers earned a berth in the NFC title game with a 13-10 win over the No. 1 seed Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field 13-10, while the Rams took down Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27. NFL betting lines opened with the Rams as -3½ favorites and with the point total set at 46½.

It didn’t make a difference as the San Francisco 49ers’ defense held the Packers to 263 total yards of offense while also collecting a fumble recovery, four sacks and a blocked punt return for a touchdown.
San Francisco has won six straight games against Sean McVay’s Rams, and this will be the third time the two clubs have met this season. In Week 10, the 49ers won the first matchup 31-10 at Levi’s Stadium. Then, in Week 18, they rallied from a 17-point deficit to defeat the Rams 27-24 at SoFi Stadium and clinch a playoff berth.
Matthew Stafford has shown to be everything that the Rams hoped for with two fantastic wins in his first two postseason games, leading Los Angeles to the NFC Championship Game. In two playoff victories, he has 568 passing yards, four touchdown passes, 28 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
The Los Angeles defense allowed 359 total yards and 27 points. In addition, the Rams intercepted Brady once and forced a fumble. Aaron Donald, Von Miller and Leonard Floyd have been absolute menaces for opposing defenses as of late, totaling 3½ sacks.
