The Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts are set to square off on Sunday in NFL Week 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts were early favorites at home for NFL game betting, but as injury news came out, the line moved and Seattle is favored. Seattle is listed at -2.5, and the total is 48.5.

There will be a different feel if Carson Wentz can play in Week 1. The Colts have high expectations with the former Eagles quarterback coming over in the offseason. It will be interesting to see how healthy the 28-year-old signal-caller is after hurting his foot earlier in training camp and having COVID-19 challenges.

Russell Wilson has been a mainstay in that Seattle offense, and 2021 will be no different. Pete Carroll has turned to Wilson since he was drafted in the third round out of Wisconsin in 2012. The 32-year-old will once again have his dynamic duo in Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf to throw to all season long.

The running game for Seattle will once again be led by Chris Carson, but look for Rashaad Penny and even DeeJay Dallas to get chances. Long gone is the Legion of Boom defense in Seattle, but it still has a pretty fearsome defensive group led by Jamal Adams in the secondary.

Wentz will be without one of the mainstays in the Colts’ offense, in T.Y. Hilton. The wideout is set to miss time with a neck injury. Zach Pascal, Michael Pittman, and Parris Campbell hope to pick up the slack. Indianapolis is excited about second-year running back Jonathan Taylor, with both Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines available to back him up.
