Seahawks vs Chargers Prediction, Preview, Stream, Odds & Picks
Another week, another Los Angeles Chargers’ one-score game. This time, the Chargers outlasted the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football with a three-point win in overtime.
On a short week, they now host the Seattle Seahawks, who are shockingly in the hunt for the NFC West title. Who would have figured that’s where they’d be after offloading Russell Wilson in the offseason?

This is an important game for both teams heading into late October. Which squad is the best option versus the NFL betting odds?
Let’s check the latest NFL odds, stats, injury reports, and NFL lines for Seahawks vs Chargers. We’ve plenty of Vegas NFL odds for you to consider.
Seattle Seahawks
Quarterback Geno Smith has not only gained respect, but he has also been enjoying a career revival with the Seattle Seahawks.
While the Seahawks had their troubles during a 39-32 loss to the New Orleans Saints two weeks ago, Smith’s quarterback play wasn’t a problem.
Smith posted 268 passing yards with 16 completions on 25 attempts. He also threw for three touchdowns and added another 13 yards on the ground.
One week later, Smith received the defensive help he lacked against the Saints. The Seattle defense held Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals’ offense to only three points.
The Seahawks won 19-9, with Arizona’s other six points coming on a recovery of a botched Seattle punt in the end zone for a touchdown. Smith now has five touchdowns and no interceptions in his last three games.
On the season, he has the fourth-best passer rating in the NFL. While it’s hard to believe, he’s playing well – and better than Wilson. The main issue for this team is that their defense is not great.
While they’re coming off a good game, keep in mind if you bet online that the Seahawks’ defense ranks dead last in the NFL in terms of yards allowed per game.
Chargers: Close Calls
The Chargers are sitting in second in the AFC West, with the struggling Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos below them. Los Angeles needed overtime to beat Denver, and the Raider game was up in the air until the final minutes.
While they have the wins, they know that they have not dominated opponents. Quarterback Justin Herbert completed 37 passes for 238 yards but no touchdowns in the overtime win against Denver (first time in 20 games).
Overall, the Charger offense was anemic against the Broncos, posting 297 total yards. However, that is a unit that ranks among the best in the NFL in many categories. Now they’re going up against the worst.
Running backs Austin Ekeler and Sony Michel will need to do better than the 64 total rushing yards and one touchdown they had last week. Facing the league’s worst run defense should help, though.

Seahawks vs Chargers Head-to-Head
In one of the more entertaining matchups the NFL has to offer, Seattle will face Los Angeles for the 52nd time, with the series being 26-25 in favor of the Seahawks.
Amazingly, only one point separates these two teams over the lifetime of this rivalry. The Chargers have 1,067 points to Seattle’s 1,066. The last matchup was in 2018 and the Chargers won that one 25-17.

Seahawks vs Chargers Prediction
The Chargers know that quarterback Justin Herbert is still not 100 percent healthy due to the rib injury he suffered in September against the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, they have such a great matchup here versus the Seahawk’s defense. Keenan Allen should be back and Herbert slightly healthier. This sets up a great spot for the Chargers to cover in the sportsbook.
If you don’t like the side, consider the over for your NFL picks. We should see plenty of points in this one.
