The Tennessee Titans head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets in Week 4 NFL action. Ryan Tannehill and the Titans took care of business against the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday, cruising to a 25-16 win and improving to 2-1.
Conversely, the Jets return home without a win after getting pummeled by the Denver Broncos 26-0. Las Vegas NFL Odds like the Titans as the road favorites at nine points with the total set at 46.
The Titans appear to have found themselves after losing their opening game, winning two in a row. The Titans sit atop the AFC South standings after Derrick Henry smashed his way to 144 yards of total offense against the Colts. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill turned the ball over twice but found three different receivers in the end zone.
Tennessee’s defense allowed just 281 yards of total offense and held Indianapolis to just 16 points in Week 3. Even more impressive, the Colts had the ball inside the Titans’ 10-yard line twice in the second half and were held to a pair of field goals.
First-year coach Robert Saleh and the New York Jets will have to wait till Week 4 to try and earn their first win. Quarterback Zach Wilson could not get anything going, finishing with just 160 yards and two interceptions. In addition, the run game was completely non-existent as the team rushed for 43 yards.
Quinnen Williams was the lone bright spot last week, recording 1.5 sacks and four tackles. However, the defense is looking to improve quickly as the Jets have allowed an opponent to rush for 100 yards in all three games
