The Atlanta Falcons feel at home on the road. They picked up their second victory Thursday night, defeating the Panthers, 25-17, in North Carolina. The Panthers had a last-ditch drive going but it was ended by an Atlanta interception. And the social media team lived to win another day.

Matt Ryan Has Legs as Well as an Arm

Matt Ryan is dangerous when he looks for receivers, and if you aren’t careful, the veteran QB will beat you with his legs as he did on this play when ran the ball in for his ninth career rushing TD.

Younghoe Koo Has a Strong Leg, Too

The Falcons had trouble finding the end zone for much of the first three quarters so they turned the scoring responsibility to Younghoe Koo and he delivered, hitting four field goals in as many attempts. Of course, after a touchdown in the fourth quarter, Koo missed a PAT that kept it an eight-point game.

Todd Gurley Scores a Touchdown That Wasn’t Accidental

After mistakenly finding the end zone late Sunday against Detroit, a play that allowed the Lions to get the ball back and drive for the winning score, Todd Gurley got it right in the fourth quarter.

Ah, the Ol’ Flea-Flicker

The Panthers went into their bag of tricks in the second quarter and it produced a touchdown. After a handoff, the ball was flipped back to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who threw deep and found Curtis Samuel for the touchdown. A thing of beauty when it works.

The Panthers faced a fourth-and-9 in the third quarter. Time to punt? Nope. How about a fake with Jeremy Chinn taking it 28 yards.

Dirty Play Sends Bridgewater to Sidelines

This play proved costly for the Panthers as a pair of penalties were called on the Falcons. First, Dante Fowler Jr. tries to trip Teddy Bridgewater as he steps up in the pocket and then Charles Harris delivers a headshot that knocked the quarterback from the game. Both Folwer and Harris were called for penalties. The Panthers accepted the one on Harris, which earned him an ejection. Bridgewater did return from the game with 9:45 left in the fourth quarter.
