2025 NFL Mock Draft 1.0: Titans Go QB at #1, But Not Shedeur Sanders
Tennessee Holds the No. 1 Pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and Wants a QB! So, Who Will They Choose?
It’s Never Too Early to Start Draft Talks
It’s not even been two weeks since the end of the regular season and a couple of days since the first postseason NFL games went down, but hey, nowhere is it written that it’s a bad time to start talking about next season’s draft.
So, guess what?

Yes, you are absolutely right! The time to roll out our initial 2025 NFL Mock Draft is here! So get ready, take notes, and let’s get the draft hunger games underway!
As NFL news reported following the end of the regular season, the Tennessee Titans, holders of the worst record in the league, have the No.1 pick, giving them first dibs at a draft class filled to the brim with potential franchise passers.

With the Titans being part of a group of various teams needing a fresh start at the QB position, a group including the Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants, let’s cut the pleasantries and get to mock drafting, shall we?
‘With the No.1 Pick the Titans Select…’
Alright, I’m sure that you, just like everybody else, have heard the NFL rumors that the Tennessee Titans are on the market for a new franchise QB.
Looking at it from a rational, realistic, and mature point of view, it makes absolute sense. Having a QB room led by mayo-loving Will Levis and Mason Rudolph, the chances of seeing the team’s NFL schedule and thinking, “Man, we could actually get something going here” are as slim as paying me to go and play for them.
So, doing some math, if you take a team in desperate need of a franchise QB and a draft class with some elite passers, who should the Titans draft?
Which QB should the Tennessee Titans draft 1st overall? Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward? #Titans pic.twitter.com/mvBl63Nt0w

Channeling Roger Goodell for a second “With the first pick in the 2025 NFL draft the Tennessee Titans select:”
Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami
What? No Shedeur Sanders to Tennessee with the first pick? No, sorry, not in my mock draft. While Sanders is deemed by everybody as the consensus premier pick, even if he’s already stated the possibility of not being in attendance for the event, I’m going with Miami’s star Cam Ward.
Why?
Ward checks all the boxes perfectly for what Brian Callahan’s team needs. He’s a proven winner and a record-breaker in Miami, and while the ceiling seems higher for Sanders, Ward is ready to hit the floor running and potentially become a star.

Picks Two to Ten
2. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Considering the Cleveland Browns will most likely be without Deshaun Watson for the upcoming season, it’s time to go after a new franchise QB, so how about going for Shedeur Sanders at 2?
Is Shedeur Sanders THE guy to pick at 2nd overall? pic.twitter.com/6RJ40HllJn
— BrownsNation.com (@BrownsNationcom) January 14, 2025
It makes sense in every single way and could automatically help the team’s betting odds take a spike moving forward.
3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
What? Are the New York Giants not taking a QB with the third pick? Nope, not in this mock draft, and unless a truly compelling case comes across my desk, I will die on this hill.
The Giants need a veteran passer to lead the team, somebody who can lead this offense to the promised land. Malik Nabers needs somebody who knows what they’re doing with the ball. So, instead of going down the new QB experimental round, why not take the best overall player in the draft?

If the Giants for once want to be smart, they should take Heisman Winner Travis Hunter and pair him with Nabers.
4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Following Mike Vrabel’s hiring as head coach, and with Drake Maye showing he has the chops to be the team’s QB moving forward, it’s a given he’ll need protection.
With the fourth pick, give me the Pats taking LSU’s behemoth offensive tackle Will Campbell. Many draft experts have him as the second-ranked prospect in his position, but for me, he’s No.1.
DAWG: A Will Campbell highlight edit.
Campbell, has been a standout at LSU, is only 20-years-old, and is expected to be a top 10 pick.
Campbell is 6-foot-6, 323 pounds, and has been First-Team All-SEC & Second-Team All-SEC the last two seasons.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
The Jacksonville Jaguars can either pick to be a dumpster fire next season or, with the right help, they could revive their once fighting and contending spirit and try to make a run at relevance once again.
Michigan DT Mason Graham put on a 1 min highlight reel by himself against Ohio State. Dominant performance for a top-5 player in this NFL Draft class. pic.twitter.com/HXUdsgfyuC

While the offense seems good to go, the defense could use a little, or well, a lot of muscle, which is why targeting a player like Michigan’s defensive lineman Mason Graham is the way to go. The dude looks like a pro-ready tackle, can play the run and rush the passer like an all-pro, and brings a level of energy that could make the Jaguars D-line a scary bunch.
6. Las Vegas Raiders: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
Just like my thoughts on the Giants passing up on drafting a QB and going to the free agency market to land a veteran, with the Las Vegas Raiders, I’m taking them out of the waitlist for a vet and having them pick a rookie QB, one that could be seen like a project, but who, with the right coaching could end up having a massive upside to exploit.
NOT ONE, NOT TWO, NOT THREE BUT FOUR RUSHING TDS FOR JALEN MILROE 😱
ABSOLUTELY TERRORIZING THE LSU DEFENSE 😳 pic.twitter.com/XuXOsCkLLC
— ESPN (@espn) November 10, 2024
Jalen Milroe’s athleticism, game knowledge, and continuing improvement playing in and out of the pocket make for a great pick for LV here. Again, mark my words here: Milroe’s upside could end up being a massive plus to exploit with the right coaching.
7. New York Jets: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
I bet you thought I was about to go all in for the New York Jets taking a quarterback. Well, the joke’s on you because no, even while the team continues on their search for a new head coach and general manager and dabble with the idea of having Aaron Rodgers return or not, I’m going full offense here for my J E T S JETS JETS JETS!
In New York’s agenda, keeping Garrett Wilson needs to be at the top of the list, so why not give him the best receiver in the draft to play alongside him, like Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan?
Tetairoa McMillan is going to be fun to watch in the NFL 👀

The kid apparently wants to be a Jet, and with Davante Adams aging and even thinking about bouncing if his bff Rodgers leaves, why not go for an immediate impact pass catcher?
8. Carolina Panthers: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
I liked what Bryce Young showed with the Carolina Panthers towards the end of the season. Hell, I might even go as far as to say he was good enough to believe in him for the long run, so why not give him a prospect who could end up being WR-1 for the team soon, like Missouri’s Luther Burden III?
Luther Burden III is thunder from the slot, a position where there is usually lightning ⛈️
He excels after the catch, powering and eluding his way to 64 career missed tackles forced. He has solid hands even when contested.

The pick makes sense. It makes sense today. It will make sense tomorrow. It will continue making sense until draft day.
9. New Orleans Saints: Kelvin Banks Jr. OT, Texas
When you were a kid, did anybody ever tell you: “If you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all”? Those are my feelings with the New Orleans Saints.
New Orleans was a total letdown for NFL picks and predictions fans, and I don’t see them getting that much better come next season. But, with that said, some help in their offensive line could help them improve a bit, and with a player like Texas’ Kelvin Banks, who could become a lockdown tackle from day one?

🤘 One Pressure Allowed
🤘 86.4 Pass Block Grade pic.twitter.com/yz8TMrOXnm— PFF College (@PFF_College) January 11, 2025
10. Chicago Bears: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
The Chicago Bears need two things: an offense-driven coach and some help on defense. While they can’t draft a coach, they could find a franchise edge rusher with the 10th pick, like Penn State’s Abdul Carter.
Abdul Carter is a freak
— PFF College (@PFF_College) January 10, 2025
Caleb Williams and Chicago’s offense should be just fine with the right person leading them. So why not land a defensive freak of nature like Carter to take care of business on the defensive side of the ball?
Everybody Else in the Lot
11. San Francisco 49ers: James Pearce Jr. Edge, Tennessee
12. Dallas Cowboys: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
If Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones can find it in his heart to tell GM Jerry Jones to draft Boise State phenom running back Ashton Jeanty with the 12th pick, he would make every Cowboys fan very happy.
While we wait to see who Jones picks as the new head coach for his team following Mike McCarthy’s departure, Jeanty in Dallas makes perfect sense.
13. Miami Dolphins: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
14. Indianapolis Colts: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
15. Atlanta Falcons: Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
16. Arizona Cardinals: Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
17. Cincinnati Bengals: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
If I were all the other 31 teams in the league, I would be very afraid of what version of the Cincinnati Bengals they’ll have to face next season.
This team doesn’t need much tweaking on offense, especially with Joe Burrow, JaMarr Chase, and company coming back next season looking for some much-deserved vengeance. On defense, though, that secondary needs a lifeline, one that could come from a player like Notre Dame’s cornerback Benjamin Morrison.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, Edge, Alabama
20. Denver Broncos: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia
22. Los Angeles Chargers: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Man, it must suck to be an LA Chargers fan right now. It must suck to be a part of the Chargers in general, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be room for improvement, especially on offense.
There should be a couple of things in Justin Herbert’s wishlist for next season. Firstly, he needs a strong weapon for his short to mid-passing game, and secondly, he needs an understanding of what it takes to win games when it matters most.
But staying with the first, the most realistic, a player like Tyler Warren, Penn State’s stout tight end could do the job.
23. Green Bay Packers: Shemar Stewart, Edge, Texas A&M
24. Minnesota Vikings: Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
25. Houston Texans: Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
26. Los Angeles Rams: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
27. Washington Commanders: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
Is it too late to join the Jayden Daniels hype bandwagon? Oh, wait, never mind. I’ve been telling people left and right that the Washington Commanders’ rookie QB is HIM!
Understanding Daniels deserves a little more love in his receiving corps, I’m going with another top-tier WR from Ohio State’s never-ending receiver factory, Emeka Egbuka.
Emeka Egbuka would be a PERFECT fit on the Commanders next season… pic.twitter.com/4H4c63Jvzg
— Dynasty Nerds (@DynastyNerds) November 14, 2024
Tell me the trio of Daniels/McLaurin/Egbuka doesn’t sound like an NFL prop betting dream in the works.
28. Baltimore Ravens: Mike Green, Edge, Marshall
29. Buffalo Bills: J.T. Tuimoloau, Edge, Ohio State
30. Philadelphia Eagles: David Walker, Edge, Central Arkansas
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
32. Detroit Lions: Shavon Revel Jr. CB
Last but not least, because yes, I’m sold on the Detroit Lions’ Super Bowl LIX odds to win, adding another prospect to beef up the team’s already strong secondary sounds 50 shades of perfect.
East Carolina’s Shavon Revel Jr.’s upside when healthy automatically makes him a top-level corner, and with Dan Campbell’s influence, the small-school stud could hit the pros and start pounding away at opposing receivers quickly.
