online sports betting madness continues, as we dive headfirst into Week 13. The AFC South-leading Tennessee Titans (8-3) play host to the staggered Cleveland Browns (8-3), in what could turn into a slugfest. As of this writing, the NFL odds on the BetUS sportsbook show the Titans as six-point home favorites.

Tennessee is riding high after smashing the rival Colts in Indianapolis by a score of 45-26 in Week 12. The Titans amassed 449 total yards against the Colts’ elite defense. Tennessee managed to outgain Indianapolis on the ground 229-56, with RB Derrick Henry grinding out 178 yards and three TDs. The Titans committed zero turnovers.

Meanwhile, Cleveland narrowly escaped Jacksonville with a 27-25 victory over the Mike Glennon-led Jaguars. The Browns piled up 459 yards on offense, but the defense had a difficult time with the ragtag Jags. Being offered the Titans at home minus six is the equivalent of an early NFL betting Christmas present. Cleveland can certainly put up points, but its 21st-ranked defense will struggle with Tennessee’s sixth-ranked offense.

Cincinnati Bengals vs Miami Dolphins

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS

Bengals vs Dolphins Betting Lines

Moneyline: Bengals +450, Dolphins -600
Point Spread: Dolphins -11 ½
Total: 42

The shambling Cincinnati Bengals (2-7-1) travel to Hard Rock Stadium to square off with the Miami Dolphins (7-4). Cincinnati dwells deep in the basement of the AFC North, most recently losing to the Giants 19-17. The poor Bengals couldn’t get going on offense, playing without starting RB Joe Mixon and QB Joe Burrow.

Cincinnati managed only 155 total yards of offense and was demolished in time of possession by almost 15 minutes. The Bengals’ weary defense couldn’t get off the field, allowing the Giants to pile up 386 total yards. To make matters worse, Cincinnati turned the ball over three times while only securing one takeaway themselves.

Miami’s on the other end of the spectrum, sitting just one game out of first place in the AFC East. The Dolphins are coming off a 20-3 cakewalk win vs the Jets in NY. Ex-Jet Ryan Fitzpatrick started at quarterback for the injured Tua Tagovailoa, and Fitz stuck it to his old mates.

Fitzpatrick connected on 24-of-39 throws for 257 passing yards, notching two touchdowns without throwing any interceptions. Miami WR DeVante Parker led all receivers with eight catches and 119 yards. It’s currently unknown whether Fitzpatrick or Tagovailoa will start in Week 13. What is known, is that Miami’s fourth-ranked defense has allowed a paltry 11.5 PPG over its previous two contests. The Dolphins’ D shouldn’t have much trouble dispatching the Bengals ramshackle offensive unit.

Las Vegas Raiders vs NY Jets

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS

Raiders vs Jets Betting Lines

Moneyline: Raiders -360, Jets +300
Point Spread: Raiders -7 ½
Total: 47

The Raiders are likely licking their chops ahead of this matchup with the Jets in MetLife Stadium. Las Vegas left a chunk of its dignity in Atlanta, following last week’s 43-6 lambasting by the Falcons. The Raiders have a chance to get some of their swagger back here but must realize that a loss to the winless Jets would be fatal.

Both NY and Las Vegas possess bottom-tier defenses, but the Raiders own the NFL’s 11th-ranked offense. Expect RB Josh Jacobs to get back on track this week, bashing holes and carving up ground yardage on the Jets. QB Derek Carr has a golden opportunity for redemption himself, going against the league’s third-worst passing D.

“Gang Green” dies a slow, painful death on the football field every week, but we can capitalize on NY’s misery. The most recent Jets tragedy was a 20-3 mashing by the Dolphins last week. The BetUS sportsbook is offering +115 on the Jets odds to finish 0-16, and that looks like a great bet. NY is tumbling towards the top pick in the 2021 draft, and I don’t see a legit winnable game on the remaining schedule.

Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET on CBS

Colts vs Texans Betting Lines

Moneyline: Colts -175, Texans +155
Point Spread: Colts -3
Total: 51

The Indianapolis Colts (7-4) were trounced at home 45-26 by the Titans last week, and are hoping for better luck against the Houston Texans (4-7). The Colts run defense suffered without DL DeForest Buckner (covid-19 list) vs Tennessee, and they may be without him again here. The Texans would jump for joy if Buckner is out again since they have the league’s second-worst running game.

However, Houston has won three of its last four contests, and seem content to play the spoiler. Texans’ QB Deshaun Watson is playing phenomenally lately, throwing for 662 yards and six touchdowns in his last two games. Watson has also led Houston in rushing over that span, running for 60 yards and a score.

Last week, the Texans blew out the Lions 41-25 on Thanksgiving Day. Watson completed 17-of-25 passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns. Two of his TD strikes went to WR Will Fuller, who hauled in six passes for 171 yards. It’s clear that this Houston team will not go quietly into the night, and Indianapolis has its hands full.

New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers

Sunday, 425 p.m. ET on CBS

Patriots vs Chargers Betting Lines

Moneyline: NA
Point Spread: pick’em
Total: 47 ½

The New England Patriots (5-6) find themselves on the outside looking in, scrambling for a last-minute playoff spot. The Patriots have managed to win three of their last four games, although it’s generally been by the skin of their teeth. New England edged Arizona at home 20-17 in Week 12, but are not the specter of awe we once knew.

The Los Angeles Chargers (3-8) are rocking the basement of the AFC West, but have fought hard this year. Rookie QB Justin Herbert usually finds a way to keep the Bolts in the game. L.A.’s previous four losses were only by an average of six points, so the Chargers were always sniffing around for the victory.

This game is currently slated as a pick’em, yet L.A. is better both offensively and defensively, on paper. The difference lies in the coaching. Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick is worth 100 Anthony Lynns, and he’ll be scheming his butt off in L.A.

Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

Broncos vs Chiefs Betting Lines

Moneyline: Broncos +700, Chiefs -1000
Point Spread: Chiefs -14
Total: 51

The Denver Broncos (4-7) seek satisfaction in Arrowhead Stadium, as they clash with the Kansas City Chiefs (10-1). In Week 12, the league notified the Broncos right before kickoff that all of their quarterbacks were ineligible (covid19 list). As a result, WR Kendall Hinton was called up from the practice squad to make the start.

Hinton only completed one pass for nine yards, and the sideswiped Broncos were smashed 31-3 by the Saints. As of this writing, it looks like Drew Lock will be back in the saddle for Denver against Kansas City. The Broncos are three games out of the wild card, but they’ll try to vent some frustrations against the Chiefs.

Kansas City has won six consecutive games and enjoys a huge lead in the AFC West. The Chiefs defeated the Buccaneers 27-24 last week in Tampa Bay, tightening their grip as the favorite regarding  Super Bowl Odds. When these two rivals tangled in Week 7, Kansas City flattened Denver 43-16 at Sports Authority Field.
