After making the Super Bowl, the Niners have their eyes on more than just a division title. The Los Angeles Rams are a distant second in the division odds at +325. Down at the bottom, the Seattle Seahawks have +700 odds in the NFC West, while the Arizona Cardinals sit at +1200.

The NFC West teams will play all of the AFC East squads with matchups against the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and New England Patriots. Each team will also have a matchup versus the AFC West facing one of the following teams: Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers.

As with all divisions, the NFC West teams play each other twice in 2024. The NFC West will also face the entire NFC North: Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears. The division also plays one team each from the NFC East and NFC South.

Here’s what you need to know about the NFC West in 2024.

Early Super Bowl Rematch? 49ers Face Brutal Stretch After Week 6

All eyes are on the 49ers as the team is once again one of the Super Bowl contenders. San Francisco gets a Super Bowl rematch versus Kansas City in Week 7.

This is part of a challenging stretch of the schedule for the Niners beginning with the Seahawks in Week 6. The 49ers take on the Dallas Cowboys (Week 8), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Week 10), Seahawks (Week 11), Packers (Week 12) and Bills (Week 13). San Francisco will need to take advantage of their bye in Week 9 to have success during October and November.

Expectations are high in the Bay Area with their win total set at 11½ in our NFL betting odds.

Rams: Overrated or Value? Consider Their Tough Schedule

Vegas expects the Rams to be in contention for the NFC West despite Aaron Donald retiring. Los Angeles could face a challenging end of the season if teams live up to preseason expectations.

Beginning in December, the Rams face the following teams: Bills (Week 14), 49ers (Week 15), Jets (Week 16) and Seahawks (Week 18). The Rams close the season with 12 straight games given the team’s early bye in Week 6.

The Rams over-under is set at 8 ½ wins.

Seahawks +700?! Value Bet or Fool’s Gold Under New Coach?

Here is where the value starts in the NFC West given the Seahawks have juicy odds at +700. Pete Carroll was a legendary coach, but a strong argument can be made that Seattle underperformed last season.

It will be worth watching to see if the team can bounce back under new head coach Mike Macdonald. Seattle will be tested early with back-to-back matchups against the Dolphins (Week 3) and Lions (Week 4).

On paper, the Seahawks have a favorable end to their schedule. Seattle only faces two teams in their final seven games who made the postseason in 2023.

If you are also bullish on Seattle, there are plenty of ways to back the Hawks. Aside from the division, the Seahawks are +200 to make the playoffs.

Seattle has long odds to win the Super Bowl at +3500. BetUS sportsbook has the Seahawks’ win total at 7½, with the over having plenty of appeal.

Is 6½ Wins Too Low? Cardinals’ Early Season Coin Toss

We will likely know early if the Cardinals have improved this offseason. Arizona begins the season with three straight matchups against teams who made the playoffs last season.

The Cardinals square off against the Bills, Rams, and Lions over the first three weeks. Other areas of concern include the Week 5 through Week 5 through Week 8 stretch. Arizona has three road matchups in four weeks as the team travels to San Francisco (Week 5), Green Bay (Week 6) and Miami (Week 8).

This start of the season has me wondering if the Cardinals season will be over before it really gets started with this challenging beginning of the schedule. There is a reason why NFL odds have the Cardinals’ win total set at 6 ½.
