Good ol’ fightin’ and “foosball.” These are but the simple person’s pleasures. But deceptively, these highly physical and at times, violent, professions, are actually thinkers’ sports. To excel in either, one needs to be cerebral as with what Mike Tyson said: “A tough man will get hurt in there.” With that preamble out of the way, a pair of fights on Saturday and NFL games on Sunday constitute this 8-1 parlay available from the online sportsbook.
Let’s check the latest NFL picks, stats, injury reports and NFL predictions. We’ve plenty of NFL expert picks for you to consider.
Best Bets To Parlay From NFL to Boxing
Texans (+190) vs Giants (-230)
- Spread: Texans +5 (-110), Giants -5 (-110)
- Day/Time: Sunday, Nov. 13th, 1:00 p.m. ET
- Stream: NFL Game Pass
The surprising Giants are a rare favorite as they play host to the hapless Texans. While Houston is a frisky team (4-3-1 against the spread (ATS)), it has also consistently lost games. The Texans simply don’t have the means to win a game (other than facing Jacksonville). Lovie Smith’s group is in the bottom four in offense while also conceding the third-most yards against opponents.
Most notably, Houston allows over 180 rushing yards per game. That just happens to be the strength of the Giants, who average over 161 rushing yards per game. This team is much like the Bears, to who the Texans surrendered 281 rushing yards in a Week 3 loss. The Giants should take care of business on the NFL odds but we’re not laying points.
Pick: New York Giants -230
Vikings (+160) vs Bills (-185)
- Spread: Vikings +3½ (-110), Bills -3½ (-110)
- Day/Time: Sunday, Nov. 13th, 1:00 p.m. ET
- Stream: NFL Game Pass
Catch this line on the Vikings as they visit the Bills, who will either be with a hurt Josh Allen or without him. It cannot be stressed how important the superstar quarterback is to the Bills’ offense, which is third in the NFL with 27.5 points per game. If Allen plays through his elbow injury, he won’t have the same power or precision.
Buffalo’s run game leaves much to be desired and its defense, despite being the best unit in the NFL in scoring (14.8), is also 31st in opponents’ average time per drive (3:09). Minnesota scores the eighth-most points (24.1) despite averaging just 2:32 per drive. Given more time, this team can and will score on the Bills so take the points.
Pick: Vikings +3½ (-110)
Alimkhanuly (-2000) vs Bentley (+850)
- Totals: O 4½ (-115), U 4½ (-115)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Nov. 12th, 11:00 p.m. ET
- Stream: ESPN+
Janibek Alimkhanuly (12-0-0, 8 KOs) is the most avoided man in the division for good reason. The Kazakh is a cerebral assassin who quickly and methodically breaks down his opponents. Comparisons to his compatriot, Gennady Golovkin, are not far off. We give kudos to Denzel Bentley (17-1-1, 14 KOs) who has the guts to fight him.
Bentley is an action fighter. This man will sling heavy leather at the expense of getting hit. However, he tends to start slow, which gives Alimkhanuly apt time to pick him apart and put him away. Alimkhanuly is too big of a favorite on the boxing betting odds. So instead, bet on him to knock Bentley out before the fifth round.
Pick: U 4½ (-115)
Esparza (+260) vs Zhang (-340)
- Totals: O 4½ (Ev), U 4½ (-130)
- Day/Time: Saturday, Nov. 12th, 11:25 p.m. ET
- Stream: Pay-per-view
It’s deja vu when Esparza (19-6-0) defends “her” strawweight title against Weili Zhang (22-3-0): It will be another brutal loss for her similar to the first time she dropped the belt in 2015. Esparza is being underestimated on the UFC betting lines. But she is outmatched by Zhang here.
Zhang has significantly improved her wrestling since training with Henry Cejudo. She’s already landed eight takedowns in her last two fights alone. While Esparza still has the edge here, Zhang should be versed enough to neutralize Esparza’s wrestling. And when Esparza can’t “wet blanket” her opponent, she’s a fish out of water. ufc bet online on Zhang to win and finish Esparza.
- Pick: U 4½ (-130)
