Betting on the Game
Dallas has been money against the spread this season, going 9-3 with a sparkling 5-1 mark on the road. The Cowboys have won both games ATS as a road favorite. However, those three losses have come over the last five games. Dallas has also won seven straight ATS against NFC teams. Washington, meanwhile, is 6-6 ATS this season after winning its last four. The Football Team have also been playing some low-scoring games as six of their last seven have stayed under. Support is showing for the Cowboys as their money line has risen to -210 while playing them is a -110 proposition. With the Cowboys’ running game slowed by injuries, they could become one-dimensional., but Washington is 30th in the NFL in passing yards allowed, meaning it all might play into the hands of Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott.
Prescott, along with talented wideouts CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper and the rest of the Cowboys have not played since Dec. 2, enjoying some extra rest leading to this divisional showdown. NFL predictions are sometimes harder to make in rivalry games, but Dallas is a clear pick in this prognostication.
