Calvin Ridley: Tennessee Titans

The Deal: Four years, $92 million with $50 million in guarantees

There were reportedly several suitors in the running to procure the services of former Falcons and Jaguars wideout, Calvin Ridley, but the Titans made NFL news by having won the race and signing the 29-year-old to a four-year, $92 million pact. Second-year quarterback Will Levis will now have another explosive option in his offensive arsenal to complement DeAndre Hopkins.

Jimmy Garoppolo: Released

The Jimmy Garoppolo era is done in Las Vegas after just one year into a three-year deal for the former 49ers quarterback. The 32-year-old passer has been plagued by injuries throughout his career. His first year in Sin City was no different after he played in just seven games before being benched in favor of rookie Aidan O’Connell.

Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, backup quarterback Brian Hoyer, and defensive tackle Jerry Tillery were also part of the Raiders’ house cleaning and are now free agents.

Mike Williams: Released

The seven-year veteran played in only three NFL games for the Chargers last year before suffering a torn ACL. His departure will save the Chargers $20 million in salary cap space as Williams hopes to catch on with another team and prove he is still a deep ball threat.

Bobby Wagner: Washington Commanders

The Deal: One year, $8.5 million with 6 million in guarantees

Once one of the most feared linebackers in the league, Bobby Wagner’s production has waned in the twilight of his career but he is far from finished as evidenced by his 96 solo tackles and 3 ½ sacks from last season. However, he will be 34 when the season kicks off in September which is why a one-year deal was going to be a reality no matter where he went.

Fortunately for the Commanders, Wagner chose DC as his destination for the 2024 campaign and he should be a boost both on and off the field for Washington’s new head coach, Dan Quinn.
