The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took the more challenging journey to win the Super Bowl as a wild-card team in 2020. A win against rival New Orleans on Sunday would move the Buccaneers one step closer to the franchise’s first division title since 2007.
Tampa Bay is one of two teams still undefeated at home, although the Saints do own a 4-3 record on the road.

Betting on the Game
Tom Brady leads the NFL with 4,134 passing yards while Chris Godwin ranks in the top 10 in receiving yards and targets. If there are concerns with the reigning Super Bowl champion, it was the Buccaneers’ inability or unwillingness to run the ball with the lead in the fourth quarter as well as the injuries in the secondary.
New Orleans is 19th in the NFL in passing defense, allowing 244.5 yards per game.
Running back Alvin Kamara had more than 100 rushing yards in his return to the field for the Saints. But he is going up against a Tampa Bay defense that is third in the NFL in rushing defense allowing only 91.2 yards per game.
New Orleans has won seven of its last nine games at Tampa Bay.
The total has gone over in six of the last nine games between New Orleans and Tampa Bay.
Five times since 2009 that New Orleans was a double-digit favorite against Tampa Bay but this is the first time that the tables have been turned during that time frame.
