NFL Awards Futures
NFL Awards Futures
The NFL season is closer to the end than to the beginning as it is approaching playoff time, meaning NFL awards will be voted on before you know it.
Before that happens however, there’s still time to get in some wagers on who you believe may win the coveted awards. Take a look at some of these free NFL picks and see if you want to take a chance on them or go in a different direction.

One of the most popular awards as well as the one that is typically most talked about is the NFL Most Valuable Player. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts currently has the best NFL odds this week to win at +190 odds.
After his comeback overtime win against the Bills in Week 12, Hurts solidified his spot as the frontrunner in the MVP race. It marked his third straight week where he defeated another probable playoff team as well as MVP candidate after doing so against Kansas City and Dallas – – Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott – in the previous two weeks.
While Hurts is currently the frontrunner, some may poke holes in his MVP candidacy due to the strength of the roster around him.
Mahomes continues to be in the conversation and Prescott has risen in the ranks after his disappointing season last year. One player to keep an eye on is Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson, who the sportsbook has given +450 odds to win.
Though Jackson has been hit by injuries the past couple of seasons following his 2019 MVP campaign, that doesn’t seem to be an issue in 2023.
Jackson has thrown for his highest completion percentage of his career while combining for 18 total touchdowns on the way to helping the Ravens to the current No. 1 AFC seed. If he continues that strong play while keeping mistakes minimal, without his top tight end in Mark Andrews, to secure the top seed, he could play himself into another MVP win.
Coach of the Year Race Heats Up
Detroit head coach Dan Campbell looked like he’d run away with the award, with NFL odds giving him +925 odds before the season began. However, now two-thirds of the way through, they have dropped to +175, with Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans challenging him at +350.
It can’t be understated what Campbell has done since taking over as the Lions’ head coach, potentially bringing them their first NFC North title in 30 years and first playoff appearance since 2016.
In his first year as the Texans’ head coach, Ryans has already helped lead them to more wins than each of their past three seasons. They have already doubled their win total from last year. Houston is tied for second in the AFC South and still in contention for a playoff appearance after finishing second-worst in the league last year.
There are plenty of options to bet on NFL season Awards, and whether you choose the favorites or the underdogs, don’t forget to bet online and make your picks in sooner rather than later to increase your chances for profit.
