The Cincinnati Bengals are just three years removed from nearly winning the franchise’s first Super Bowl and bettors must take that into account when they look at their +1400 NFL future odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Bengals came up just short in a 23-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56 and reached the AFC title game again the following season. Injuries and a leaky defense led to a 9-8 campaign a year ago.
There are two big reasons why Cincinnati is a decent choice to displace the Kansas City Chiefs as the AFC champions and Super Bowl kings. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are two superstars that winning teams need.
Burrow was limited to 10 games due to injuries in 2023 and was less than 100 percent in some of the contests he played. Chase caught a career-best 100 passes and went over 1,000 yards receiving for the third straight season since being drafted.
The Bengals will need more than two players to cash your NFL bets for the Super Bowl, but there are many players left who know the route there.
Why Cincinnati Bengals Can Win Super Bowl 59
1. Healthy Burrow = Victories
Super Joe Burrow has a new hairdo and could be the star of the show in the AFC this season if you bet online.
Burrow totaled 69 touchdown passes combined in 2021 and 2022 to lead Cincinnati to the AFC title game in each season. But the strong-armed quarterback was never healthy last season and went just 5-5 with 15 TD strikes and six interceptions.
He starts this season healthy and the hope is that the offensive line has improved enough to keep No. 9 on his feet more often. Veteran tackle Trent Brown was signed as a free agent and tackle Amarius Mims was drafted 18th overall out of Georgia.

A healthy Burrow with time to throw gives the Bengals every chance to win a Super Bowl and makes him a decent bet at +1100 to throw the most TD passes in the NFL. Cincinnati fumbled just twice and were tied for the second-least turnovers in the league.
2. Cincy WRs Should Win Prop Bets, Games
Chase is one of the best receivers in the league, but what could make him even better this season is that Burrow has plenty of targets from which to choose.
Tee Higgins was slowed by injuries last season and limited to 42 catches, but when healthy he caps one of the best receiving duos in the league. The Clemson product finished with over 1,000 receiving yards in 2021 and 2022.
Tyler Boyd is gone, but Burrow can look to slot receiver Trenton Irwin, who had a career-high 25 receptions in 2023, and third-round pick Jermaine Burton. The rookie averaged 20.5 yards a catch at Alabama last season with eight TDs.
The tight end room is deep as well with Tanner Hudson, Drew Sample, free-agent signee Mike Gesicki and rookie Erick All Jr.
Much will depend on improvement in the ground attack as Zack Moss replaces departed Joe Mixon. The Bengals must be better than second to last in rushing yards to set up the pass.
But make no mistake, Chase finds ways to impact the game. He has 29 TDs in three seasons and the passing attack makes Cincinnati a threat to win it all. Bet the team total over with the Bengals at the BetUS sportsbook.

3. Retooled Defense Gives Bengals Chance
Cincinnati struggled to stop teams last season, allowing an average of 31 points in its last four road games – three of them losses.
The Bengals gave up the second-most yards per game (374.6) in 2023, struggling to get off the field at key times. They went about trying to shore up that side of the ball in the offseason.
Veteran Sheldon Rankins and second-round pick Kris Jenkins Jr. from Michigan join sack leader Trey Hendrickson (17 ½) on the defensive line. Standout Logan Wilson (135 tackles, four interceptions) leads the linebacker corps.
The Bengals were in the bottom seven of the league in yards-against rushing and receiving in 2023. They hope they have solved some issues in the secondary with the signings of Geno Stone from Baltimore and Vonn Bell from Carolina.
All the changes, plus expected improvement from youngsters D.J. Turner II, Dax Hill and Jordan Battle in the backfield, make the Bengals a better defense and a Super Bowl contender. They should be a staple in your weekly NFL picks and parlays.
