Online NFL Week 4 Betting Odds and Analysis – Interconference Clashes are in the Spotlight
Okay BetUS sportsbook betting faithful, with the start of Week 4 of the 2020 NFL regular season almost here, it’s time to take a look at the six-game slate of interconference clashes that are on this week’s docket.
It’s the L.A. Chargers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4 as the Bolts look to pull off the huge road upset. In another intriguing Week 4 interconference clash, it’s Indianapolis at Chicago and Minnesota at Houston as Nick Foles and Deshaun Watson look to lead their teams to victory at home. Let’s get to the full slate of Week 4 interconference action right now.

Baltimore (2-1) at Washington (1-2)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET

NFL Odds
Baltimore -13
Moneyline
Washington +600
Baltimore -800
Total: 47
The Ravens got man-handled 34-20 in their Week 3 prime time Monday Night Football matchup against Kansas City while Washington lost their second straight game by falling at Cleveland by the identical score of 34-20.
For this Week 4 interconference clash, I say, don’t be scared off by the daunting double-digit spread. The Ravens are by far, the better team on both sides of the ball and I fully expect Baltimore – and Lamar Jackson in particular – to take out all of their frustration out on a Washington team that is simply overmatched in this pairing.
Washington is 1-5 ATS in their last six games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a straight up loss. Baltimore wins and covers the chalk as a nearly two touchdown road favorite. You can find out where the Ravens and Washington Football team are in this week’s NFL Power Rankings!
NFL Week 4 Betting Odds Pick: Baltimore -13
L.A. Chargers (1-2) at Tampa Bay (2-1)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa
NFL Odds
Tampa Bay -7
Moneyline
LA Chargers +270
Tampa Bay -330
Total: 43½
The Chargers put up a good effort but came up just short in their narrow 35-32 road loss at Buffalo, although quarterback Justin Herbert threw for over 300 yards in his second straight start. Tampa Bay won their second consecutive game by getting past a banged-up Broncos team 28-10 as Tom Brady tossed three TD passes.
While I’m expecting the Bolts to put up another good effort, I just don’t see Brady and the Bucs falling at home in this matchup. While I’m going with Tampa Bay for the win, I’m going with the Chargers for the ATS cover in a closer than expected finish. The Bolts are ranked a stellar fourth in points allowed (19.0 ppg) and have gone a blistering 11-4-2 ATS in their last 17 road games and 8-3-2 ATS in their last 13 games as an underdog.
NFL Week 4 Betting Odds Pick: LA Chargers +7
Indianapolis (2-1) at Chicago (3-0)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Soldier Field, Chicago
NFL Odds
Indianapolis -2½
Moneyline
Chicago +115
Indianapolis -135
Total: 45
Indianapolis won their second straight game in Week 3 by smacking the lowly New York Jets around en route to a commanding 36-7 blowout win as Philip Rivers tossed one TD pass and Jonathan Taylor ran for another and the Colts recorded a pair of pick-sixes against Sam Darnold. Chicago turned to veteran signal-caller Nick Foles to come back against Atlanta by recording a thrilling 30-26 road win last weekend.
Now, with Foles under center, I expect Chicago’s offense to be a lot better. Indy wil put up another good effort in this Week 4 matchup, but I like the Bears in a classic field goal finish, to improve on their stellar 11-3-1 ATS mark in their last 15 games as a home underdog.
NFL Week 4 Betting Odds Pick: Chicago +2.5
Minnesota (0-3) at Houston (0-3)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: NRG Stadium, Houston
NFL Odds
Houston -3.5
Total: 54.5
The Vikings fell to 0-3 on the season by collapsing against Tennessee in their 31-30 Week 3 home loss despite getting 181 rushing yards from Dalvin Cook. Houston also remained winless by losing at Pittsburgh 28-21 as Deshaun Watson passed for 264 yards.
With the Vikings ranked a dismal 31st in points allowed(34.0 ppg) and the Texans giving up an equally discouraging 31.7 points per contest (29th), I believe the Over 54.5 total points is the top pick for this Week 4 interconference clash. The Over is 5-2 in Minnesota’s last 7 road games and 18-6 in Houston’s last 24 games in October. Check out the full betting analysis on this Week 4 matchup right here!
NFL Week 4 Betting Odds Pick: Over 54.5 Total Points
Seattle (30) at Miami (1-2)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens
NFL Odds
Seattle -6.5
Moneyline
Total: 54.5
Seattle remained unbeaten as MVP-leading superstar quarterback Russell Wilson threw five TD passes for the second consecutive week in Seattle’s thrilling 38-31 Week 3 home win over Dallas. Miami got their first win of the season by dominating Jacksonville en route to a commanding 31-13 road win.
The Dolphins might have gotten their first win of the season on Thursday night, but their joy will be short-lived as Seattle rolls into town and lays a double-digit smackdown on them. Seattle has gone 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
NFL Week 4 Betting Odds Pick: Seattle -6.5
Cleveland (2-1) at Dallas (1-2)
When: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1:00 PM ET
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington
NFL Odds
Dallas -4.5
Moneyline
Total: 55.5
Cleveland won for the second straight week by beating Washington 34-20 at home last weekend while posting a now, owning a winning record for the first time in six years. Dallas couldn’t build on their stunning Week 2 win over Atlanta – and the Boys couldn’t stop Russell Wilson – in their humbling 38-31 Week 3 home loss against Seattle.
While Dallas can definitely score the ball this season by averaging 29.3 points per game (ninth), the Cowboys are also awful defensively in allowing a whopping 32.3 points per contest (30th). Cleveland ranks a surprising ninth in total defense and fifth against the run. The Browns also have a decent, if not, explosive, offense that features a ton of talent at the skill positions.
I like Dallas to get the much-needed home win in this matchup, but I like the Over 55.5 total points as my top pick for this Week 4 interconference clash.
The Over is 6-0 in Cleveland’s last six games against a team with a losing record and 5-2 in Cleveland’s last seven games overall. The Over is also 4-0 in Dallas’ last four games following a straight-up loss and 4-1 in the Cowboy’s last five home games.
