Super Bowl 59 Injury Update: Eagles Hope To Have Graham Back on Super Sunday
- Both the Eagles and the Chiefs appear to be in good shape from an injury department heading into Super Bowl 59.
- Veteran pass rusher Brandon Graham may return for the Eagles.
- The Eagles vs Chiefs injuries may not have much of an impact on the result of the Super Bowl.
The big day is almost here as the Kansas City Chiefs look to become the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles. Only the Philadelphia Eagles stand between the Chiefs and a piece of NFL history.

BetUS Sportsbook has the Chiefs as a one-point favorite with -115 odds to win the game outright. The Eagles are priced at -105 to win the Super Bowl. The total is set at 48½ points.
Both the Eagles and the Chiefs have had time to get ready to meet in the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three seasons. The last game for both teams came on Jan. 26. The two weeks have worked wonders when it comes to the NFL injury news. Both teams should be close to full strength on Super Sunday.
BetUS has you covered with previews from various betting angles as the 2024 NFL season is set to come to a close on Sunday.
3 Super Bowl Injury Updates
1. Injuries to Monitor
Veteran Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham was limited to 11 games in the regular season, and he has yet to play in the postseason as the result of an elbow injury. He was listed as a full participant in Friday’s practice, but he carries a questionable tag on the NFL injury report.
Graham, who last played on Nov. 24 when he had a sack in a win over the Los Angeles Rams, had been limited in practice this week before logging a full practice on Friday. That does leave open the possibility that he can get on the field against the Chiefs.

Receiver DeVonta Smith is dealing with a hamstring injury for the Eagles. It is hard to imagine him missing the Super Bowl. However, speedy receivers with tender hamstrings are always a cause for concern.
Speaking of receivers, keep an eye on the Super Bowl injury updates, as Kansas City’s Skyy Moore has been limited in practice this week. He is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game.
Moore hasn’t played since being targeted once in a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 20. He had 45 catches in his first two seasons but did not make a catch in six games in the regular season.
1. Plenty of Ailing Eagles Eager to Soar
It is mostly good news for the Eagles, with the extra week of rest allowing some key players to get healthier.
Center Landon Dickerson, who figures to see plenty of Kansas City’s defensive tackle and game-wrecker Chris Jones, was able to be a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. He has been dealing with a knee injury.
Fellow interior offensive lineman Cam Jurgens (back) was also able to practice without restriction.
Tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle) and reserve running back Kenny Gainwell (concussion/knee) also practiced on Thursday and Friday.
Leading tackler Zack Baun and defensive tackle Jalen Carter look good to go for the Super Bowl. They both could be popular targets in Super Bowl player prop bets.
3. Not Many Injury Concerns For Reigning Champs
It almost feels comical that quarterback Patrick Mahomes is even listed on the injury report as a result of an ankle injury. As long as he still has two ankles by the time of the opening kickoff, the three-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player will be on the field for the big game. The Super Bowl MVP odds have Mahomes at +120 to win the award for the fourth time as he carries no injury designation after practicing on Thursday and Friday.

Punter Matt Araiza did not practice on Wednesday as a result of an illness, but he was a full participant on Thursday and Friday.
Offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, who has been on the field for more than 1,000 snaps this season, is dealing with a knee injury. He has been able to practice this week.
All players on both teams are going to do their best to be on the field for Sunday’s game, but check the latest news before you bet online on the biggest game of the year.
