The Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers face arguably the two best teams from the NFC in Week 15. There could be some movement in the power rankings as things remained the same after the Week 14 results.

The BetUS sportsbook lists the Bills vs Lions matchup as the most competitive among those involving AFC teams.

Kansas City is at +450 and has the shortest odds to win Super Bowl 59 among AFC teams followed by Buffalo at +600.

AFC Super Bowl Rankings: Top 6 Contenders to Bet On

1. Buffalo Bills (+225 to win the AFC)

Last Week Ranking: 1

The Bills might have squandered their chance to earn the top seed in the AFC playoffs with a Week 14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams despite quarterback Josh Allen throwing three touchdown passes and running for three more. Allen is a huge favorite in NFL MVP odds at -425.

However, we’re going to keep the Bills at No. 1 as they continue to lead the NFL in scoring margin and one of Buffalo’s 10 wins came against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Next up for Buffalo is a matchup with the NFC-leading Detroit Lions. After that, the Bills finish the regular season with two games against the Patriots and one against the Jets.

The Bills need to be careful because they are two games behind Kansas City in the AFC standings and tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers. When looking at the NFL betting trends, Buffalo is just 4-3 outright on the road so expecting the Bills to win at Pittsburgh and at Kansas City to reach the Super Bowl might be asking a bit much.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (+200 to win the AFC)

Last Week Ranking: 2

This is starting to get ridiculous. In the last three weeks, the Chiefs beat Carolina on a field goal on the final play of the game, recovered a fumble with 11 seconds left to win beat the Las Vegas Raiders by two points and won in Week 14 on another game-ending field goal.

The 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers gave the Chiefs their ninth consecutive AFC West Division title and a 12-1 record heading into a Week 15 matchup with the 3-10 Cleveland Browns. Things will get more challenging after that with games against the Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos to close out the regular season.

Per Chiefs vs Browns betting tips, Kansas City has won 10 games this season by seven points or less. If they weren’t the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, it would be easy to write the Chiefs off as being more lucky than good.

The road to the Super Bowl in the AFC looks like it will go through Kansas City and perhaps being in all of those tight games will prepare the Chiefs for what is coming in the postseason.

Kansas City has failed to cover against the spread in each of its last seven games but still heads into Week 15 tied for the best record in the NFL.

Bet on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX (+450)

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (+900)

Last Week Ranking: 3

Pittsburgh got a gift from the Cleveland coaching staff in Week 14, when the Browns were stopped on fourth-and-1 at midfield in a two-score game. The Steelers only had to go 46 yards for an insurance touchdown. Pittsburgh now has a two-game lead on Baltimore in the AFC North with four games left to play.

The next three games are pretty brutal with Pittsburgh facing teams with a combined record of 32-7 before ending the regular season against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Steelers won despite having just 267 yards of total offense against the Browns. The absence of top receiver George Pickens hampered the offense. Check the NFL injury report to see if Pickens will be able to go against the 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Pittsburgh is tied for the best record in the NFL with a 10-3 mark against the NFL spread.

Bet on the Steelers to win Super Bowl LIX (+2000)

4. Baltimore Ravens (+425)

Last Week Ranking: 4

Did the bye week come at the perfect time for the Baltimore Ravens? Baltimore is just 3-3 in its last six games and has some work to do to catch the Steelers in the AFC North race.

No AFC team with a winning record has allowed more points this season than the Ravens and that has proved costly at times this season. Any offense that includes quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry needs to be respected but the Ravens will likely have to win multiple road games just to reach the AFC Championship Game.

Before a huge AFC North showdown with the Steelers, the Ravens get to face a dreadful New York Giants team on Sunday with the Ravens favored by 15 points. It will be just the fourth time since the start of the 2020 season that Baltimore is listed by the NFL betting line as a double-digit favorite on the road.

Bet on the Ravens to win Super Bowl LIX (+1000)

5. Los Angeles Chargers (+1400)

Last Week Ranking: 5

The Chargers had another mediocre showing on offense and that proved costly in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The next two games come at home against the NFC South-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers and division-rival Denver as the Chargers make a push for the playoffs.

While Denver has won three games in a row, the Chargers won the first meeting between the teams and that keeps them at No. 5 in the AFC power rankings.

When making NFL picks, keep in mind that the Chargers have covered in each of their four games as a home favorite this season.

The Chargers still lead the NFL in scoring defense and are 3-1 against NFC teams this season.

Bet on the Chargers to win Super Bowl LIX (+4000)

6. Houston Texans (+1400)

Last Week Ranking: 6

Things got a little too close for comfort when the Texans edged the Jacksonville Jaguars by three points the last time out. With no game in Week 14, there is time for Texans to regroup.

Houston gets to face a desperate Miami Dolphins team fighting to remain in contention for a playoff spot before meeting up with Kansas City and Baltimore as the Texans close in on winning the AFC South Division.

Running back Joe Mixon is inching closer to a 1,000-yard season and he could be a popular Week 15 player prop pick option.

Bet on the Texans to win Super Bowl LIX (+4000)
