With the Los Angeles Chargers winning its second game in a row, six of the seven playoff spots in the AFC have been clinched. Denver squandered a chance to secure the final postseason berth, leaving the Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins alive for the final spot in the playoff bracket heading into Week 18.

The Bills and Chiefs continue to set the pace in the AFC Power Rankings, with Kansas City having wrapped up home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. Kansas City, Buffalo and Houston have already captured division titles.

All four AFC North teams will be in action on Saturday. Baltimore is a heavy favorite at home against the Cleveland Browns while the Pittsburgh Steelers are a rare home underdog as a Cincinnati Bengals team that has won four games in a row looks to put pressure on Denver to win in Week 18.

The BetUS sportsbook lists the Titans vs Texans and Dolphins vs Jets matchups as the most competitive among those involving AFC teams in Week 18.

Kansas City is priced at +365 in the odds to win Super Bowl 59 followed by Buffalo at +500 and Baltimore at +650.

AFC Super Bowl Rankings: Top 6 Contenders to Bet On

1. Buffalo Bills (+250 to win the AFC)

Last Week Ranking: 1

The Buffalo Bills had no trouble with the New York Jets in Week 17 as they led 40-0 early in the fourth quarter on the way to their 13th win of the season.

Buffalo will be the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs but with a win over top-seeded Kansas City, the Bills hold onto the top spot – just barely.

With a game against the cellar-dwelling New England Patriots set for Week 18, keep an eye on the NFL news to see which of the star players for the Bills might sit out this weekend’s game.

Bet on the Bills to win Super Bowl LIX (+500)

2. Kansas City Chiefs (+155)

Last Week Ranking: 2

For the sixth time in the last seven seasons, the road to the Super Bowl in the AFC goes through Kansas City.

The Chiefs went on the road and had no trouble with a playoff-bound Pittsburgh Steelers team. Patrick Mahomes looked very much like a former NFL Most Valuable with his third 300-yard passing game of the season and three touchdowns. With Hollywood Brown and Isiah Pacheco back, this is a scary offense to deal with.

Kansas City can finish the regular season 16-1 and potentially end division rival Denver’s playoff hopes with a win on Sunday. The Chiefs have a first-round bye in the playoffs and the only blemish this season was a 30-21 loss to the Bills.

When making NFL picks, keep in mind that Kansas City joins Buffalo as the only team this season with an undefeated record at home.

Bet on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX (+365)

3. Baltimore Ravens (+300)

Last Week Ranking: 3

Baltimore is second only to the Buffalo Bills with a point differential of +132. With a win on Saturday or a loss by the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens would win the AFC North Division title.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson set the NFL’s career rushing yardage record by a quarterback while Derrick Henry had another huge game as the Ravens rolled past the Houston Texans.

When looking at the NFL betting trends, the chatter about the defensive issues for the Ravens has subsided. The only points scored by a talented Houston team came when Henry was tackled in the end zone for a safety. Opponents have scored 33 points in the last three games, with 19 of them coming when the Ravens were leading by at least 10 points.

Bet on the Ravens to win Super Bowl LIX (+650)

4. Pittsburgh Steelers (+2000)

Last Week Ranking: 4

It was a pretty weak showing by the Steelers at home against the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. Pittsburgh has dropped three games in a row.

The Steelers had four drives of 10 yards or less and quarterback Russell Wilson was sacked five times.

The Steelers are the home underdog for the ninth time in the last two seasons. Pittsburgh is 5-3 both outright and against the NFL spread in those previous eight games.

Receiver George Pickens returned to the field for the Steelers last week but that didn’t make too much of a difference for the offense.

Bet on the Steelers to win Super Bowl LIX (+5000)

5. Los Angeles Chargers (+1400)

Last Week Ranking: 6

The Chargers had no trouble with the lowly New England Patriots as rookie receiver Ladd McConkey went over the 1,000-yard mark and had a pair of touchdown catches in the 40-7 win. Now comes a matchup with the 4-12 Las Vegas Raiders.

The Chargers got a boost from the return of running back J.K. Dobbins while second-year edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu is up to 8.5 sacks for a team that has already doubled last year’s win total.

When making online bets, keep in mind that the Chargers have covered in nine of their 11 games as a favorite this season.

Bet on the Chargers to win Super Bowl LIX (+4000)

6. Houston Texans (+2000)

Last Week Ranking: 6

The good news is that the Texans have clinched the AFC South Division title, as the other three teams in the division have losing records. The bad news is that the Texans looked outclassed and overmatched against the Baltimore Ravens last week.

Houston will face a team with at least 10 wins in the first round of the playoffs and the Texans are just 1-5 in games against teams currently in playoff position. Houston barely topped the 200-yard mark in total offense against the Ravens and that won’t get it done in the postseason.

Bet on the Texans to win Super Bowl LIX (+5000)
