Over that span, the Vikings hold a 9-4 series lead, including victories in six of the last seven meetings. The most recent matchup came in 2016 when the Vikings went on the road and picked up a 25-16 victory.

The Titans have jumped out to a 2-0 start with their most recent victory coming against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 by a score of 33-30. That game was won largely thanks to the play of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who threw for 239 yards and four touchdowns.
Running back Derrick Henry, who’s had a slow start, averaged just 3.4 yards per carry in the matchup, totaling 84 yards on 25 attempts.
The Titans were without top wide receiver A.J. Brown in Week 2, which led to tight end Jonnu Smith having a strong game with 84 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Adam Humphries also tacked on a touchdown while catching five passes for 48 yards.

Trends
Henry is expected to have a big 2020 season but hasn’t got rolling quite yet. He’s totaled 200 yards on 56 carries, and his play has led to the Titans leaning more on Tannehill’s arm and the strong performances he’s put together.
Henry could be a name to watch for a potential breakout game, as the Vikings have allowed 154.5 yards per game on the ground this season.

It’s been a tough start for the Vikings, who sit with an 0-2 mark. The most recent loss came to the Indianapolis Colts on the road by a score of 28-11, and the struggles by quarterback Kirk Cousins were apparent.
He completed just 11-of-26 passes for 113 yards and three interceptions as the Vikings were unable to find the end zone until late in the fourth quarter.
The play of running back Dalvin Cook was solid once again, as he finished the game with 14 carries for 63 yards and one touchdown. The Vikings found themselves in a 15-3 hole at halftime, though, so Cook’s workload was likely a bit limited while Minnesota attempted to play catchup.
Titans vs Vikings Week 3 Stats Pack
Trends
With the Vikings seeking their first win of the season while attempting to avoid falling into a larger hole against a tough NFC North, it would be an ideal spot to get Cook going. He’s totaled 26 carries for 113 yards this season but has three touchdowns.
Pair his upside and potential to help the Vikings control the clock with the recent struggles of Cousins, and it’s tough to envision Minnesota not utilizing its running back in a big way.

Titans vs Vikings Week 3 -Betting on the Game
Point Spread
The Vikings’ tough start has led to oddsmakers favoring the Titans in a road matchup. With the NFL mostly cutting back the number of fans in stadiums to close to zero, negating the home-field advantage in many spots, the Vikings lose a bit of competitive edge due to that. It’s likely that played a part in Tennessee sitting as the favorite.
Moneyline
If a bettor believes the Vikings will snap their two-game skid, the odds for Minnesota to get the job done aren’t overly impressive. Waiting for the line to possibly move could be an option, but if you’re backing the Vikings, accepting the plus money and taking them to win outright is an option.
Over/Under
Both the Vikings and Titans have the potential to put points on the board, but they haven’t dominated the over through two weeks. If you think the sides will opt to utilize their running backs to control the clock, then it could be worth monitoring the under as a potential bet.
