Week 13 is already in full swing with wins by the Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. The big NFL news was the Chicago Bears firing head coach Matt Eberflus after another late-game meltdown as the team fired a coach during the season for the first time in the franchise’s history.
New York Jets offensive tackle Tyron Smith, Tennessee cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, Washington running back Austin Ekeler and Houston safety Jalen Pitre are among the players who will miss games on Sunday.
There are plenty of other players landing on the NFL injury report to keep an eye on. The largest line move comes in the game between the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Houston opened as a six-point favorite, but with the chance that Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence could return the field, the NFL spreads have Jacksonville as a 3½-point underdog.
Let’s look at three games that will be impacted the most by the absence of injured players, including a matchup between two of the top Super Bowl winner contenders, according to the NFL predictions.
Top 3 Games In Week 13 Impacted By Injuries
1. Los Angeles Chargers vs Atlanta Falcons
Running back JK Dobbins, defensive backs Alohi Gilman and Cam Hart and linebacker Denzel Perryman have been ruled out for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Leading tackler Daiyan Henley was not able to practice during the week. If he is unable to go, the Chargers will be without three of their top five tacklers.

The good news for the Chargers is that tight end Will Dissly and defensive end Khalil Mack do not carry injury designations. Keep that in mind when making your Week 13 NFL predictions.
The bye week helped the Atlanta Falcons get much healthier. Cornerback Mike Hughes and reserve running back Jase McClellan are out for the Falcons. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and receiver Darnell Mooney missed Friday’s practice but could play.
2. Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots
The Indianapolis Colts will be without Josh Downs, who has a team-high 53 catches, for Sunday’s matchup with the New England Patriots. Offensive linemen Braden Smith and Tanor Bortolini have also been ruled out, which is not good news for running back Jonathan Taylor. Receiver Alec Pierce was a full participant in practice this week, but he still carries a questionable tag.
While offensive lineman Cole Strange is the only player ruled out for the New England Patriots, receiver Demario Douglas, safety Kyle Dugger, linebacker Christian Ellis, second-leading tackler Anfernee Jennings, defensive end Deatrich Wise and safety Jabrill Peppers are among the players listed as questionable as they were all limited participants in practice on Friday.
The BetUS Sportsbook odds list Indianapolis as a three-point favorite against the host Patriots.
3. San Francisco 49ers vs Buffalo Bills
One of the biggest Week 13 games will take place in snowy New York when the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills host a San Francisco 49ers team in dire need of a victory.
The good news for the San Francisco 49ers is that quarterback Brock Purdy could return this week. However, with the weather predictions calling for snow and lots of it, time will tell if he is able to air things out against the Buffalo Bills.
49ers QB Brock Purdy is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game at Buffalo, but after being a full participant at practice today, Kyle Shanahan expects him to play.

The 49ers will be without some key defensive players in what feels like a must-win situation for the reigning NFC champions. Edge rusher Nick Bosa, linebacker Dre Greenlaw, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and defensive tackle Jordan Elliott have been ruled out.
Linebacker Demetrius Flanningan-Fowles, defensive tackle Kevin Givens and cornerback Renardo Green are questionable.
The 49ers also won’t have the services of offensive linemen Trent Williams and Aaron Banks.
Make sure you check the injury reports of any game before you make your NFL bets for Sunday’s action.
Question Of The Day
When was the last time the 49ers beat the Bills in Buffalo?
San Francisco last won in Buffalo in 2008, topping the Bills 10-3.
