Week 17 NFL ATS Hot and Not

NFL Betting Odds & Analysis

Okay, BetUS NFL online betting faithful – with the final week of regular season action on tap, it’s time to take a look at the hottest and coldest ATS teams in the league.

While the majority of playoff spots have been filled in both conferences, there are still a handful of teams going all-out to punch their respective sportsbook betting tickets to the postseason.

With a bunch of notable matchups on tap for Week 17, let’s find out who’s hot and who’s not when it comes to cashing in against the NFL ATS betting odds.

Here is a look at all of the Week 17 NFL odds!

Hot – Teams Consistently Covering

Buffalo (10-5 ATS)

The Bills (12-3) have won five straight and eight of their last nine games overall. The Bills remain the hottest ATS team in the league for the fourth consecutive week after smacking New England senseless 38-9 on Monday night. Buffalo heads into its Week 17 home date against Miami riding a seven-game ATS winning streak!

Baltimore (9-6 ATS)

The Ravens (10-5) have won four straight games to keep their playoff hopes alive heading into their Week 17 road date at Cincinnati. Baltimore has covered the spread in five consecutive games and four straight as a favorite.

LA Chargers (8-7 ATS)

The Chargers (6-9) have won and covered the spread in three straight games heading into their Week 17 road date against AFC West rival Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs’ starters are likely to sit on Sunday. LA could finish off the year on a nice, 4-0 SU and ATS run!

Dallas (5-10 ATS)

The Cowboys have also won and covered the ATS spread in three straight games to keep their playoff hopes alive heading into its Week 17 road date against the Giants. A win, combined with a Washington loss would catapult the Boys into the playoffs!

Chicago (9-6 ATS)

Stop playin’! Chicago has won and covered the spread in three consecutive games with Mith Trubisky under center. The Bears need only to take care of business at home against Green Bay in Week 17. That will punch their ticket to the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Packers will be going all-out for the win on Sunday in order to claim the top seed in the NFC playoffs.

Atlanta, Carolina, Cincinnati and the New York Jets have all gone 2-0 ATS over their last two games.

Not – Teams Struggling to Cover

Minnesota (6-8 ATS)

The Vikings (6-9) have hit the skids at the worst possible time by losing three straight to see their playoff hopes go up in smoke. To make matters worse, the Vikings have failed to cover the ATS betting line in six straight games heading into their Week 17 finale at Detroit.

New England (6-8 ATS)

If you hate the once perennially-powerful Patriots, then you’re probably overjoyed with New England out of the playoffs for the first time in ages. Bill Belichick’s squad is reeling from three straight losses that ruined any chance they had of reaching the postseason. The Patriots have gone 0-3 ATS over their last three games.

Jacksonville (6-8 ATS)

Jacksonville has lost 14 straight games while failing to cover the spread in three straight. The Jags have the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL draft locked down. I don’t expect Jacksonville to put up much of a fight in their Week 17 finale at Indianapolis. Another of our writers thinks they just might.

NY Giants (6-8 ATS)

The Giants have lost and failed to cover the spread in three straight. The G-Men can make all of their failures go away if Washington loses to Philadelphia. They’ll just need to beat Dallas in Week 17 at home.

The LA Rams, Detroit, Philadelphia, Denver and Indianapolis have all failed to cover the ATS betting line in two straight games heading into Week 16.
