Which Team Should Trade for Tyreek Hill?

Dolphins Star WR Tyreek Hill Is Reportedly Ready to Leave Miami After a Disappointing Season

Drama in the 305, Hill Wants Out!

Man, if losing to the New York Jets on the last game of the season wasn’t enough, or being the team Aaron Rodgers passed his 500th touchdown against, leave it to Tyreek Hill to plant one of the biggest NFL news bombs this season.

Telling reporters after Miami’s loss to NY: “I’m out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I gotta do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.” It doesn’t take a genius to understand that those are the words of a man who does not feel like playing another down for the Dolphins.

Doubling down on his stance and making NFL rumors fans go into a small frenzy, Hill changed his social media profile picture, making it look like the picture of another player who once played in a Florida-based team, who also quit in a game involving the Jets.

Yes, Antonio Brown and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It wasn’t that hard to guess.

Can you honestly imagine what it must feel like for Miami sports fans right now? First Jimmy Butler demands a trade from the Heat, and now Hill has made his wishes to leave the Dolphins as clear as water.

At the rate Miami’s sports teams are moving, nobody will want to get close to their online betting odds.

Stay In the AFC or Head to the NFC? There Lies the Question

Ok, so let’s play ball here. Let’s say Hill does leave Miami, which, of course, looks like the most obvious NFL pick and prediction to bet on when thinking of the Dolphins right now. Where should he take his talents?

It’s no secret Hill would automatically turn any receiver room in the league on its head.

Just look up Tyreek Hill’s stats on any internet browser, and you’ll see that with Cheetah you’re not just getting one of the fastest WRs in the league, but a bonafide stud.

Off the bat, teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Chargers, and Baltimore Ravens in the AFC and the Washington Commanders in the NFC would make the most sense.

One thing all these teams have in common is that they play like they’re a WR1 from having a strong receiver corps to work with. Imagine, for example, Hill and George Pickens as Pitt’s receiver duo. How about Tyreek running routes and catching deep balls from Justin Herbert?

Not good enough?

How about Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews, and Hill all in one offense? Tell me a single team that wouldn’t shake in fear if they had the Ravens in their NFL schedule.

Last but not least, picture the impact Jayden Daniels’ career could have from playing alongside a veteran star like Hill. All these teams, current playoff contenders, may I add, make perfect sense for Hill’s next destination.

Can a Reunion With the Chiefs Be In the Works?

But what if, and yes, this would be a very big what if, what if Hill decides to try and find his way back to Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs?

If you ask Chiefs fans, most will tell you that Hill should have never left, and they’re right.

But hey, Tyreek wanted his bag. Can you blame him?

Now though, with title aspirations weighing over more heavily than money, what if Hill returned to KC?

The Chiefs would benefit significantly from giving Mahomes another weapon to work with. Hill would benefit just as greatly by joining a team with an authentic title-winning culture, unlike Miami. So, who should make the first move here?

While unlikely right now, it would make the most sense. You know it, I know it, Hill knows it, the Chiefs know it, everybody knows it.
