We have NFL Offensive Player of the Year picks for the award, where Saquon Barkley is close to a lock to win.

The Philadelphia Eagles running back has been backed off the map to win OPOY, shortening to unbackable odds. However, upsets happen and the likes of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and Lamar Jackson are circling.
Our Top 2 Favorites to Win NFL Offensive Player of the Year
1. Eagles RB Saquon Barkley
It might be a case of not if Saquon Barkley wins, but by how much. The Eagles RB had an up and down tenure with the New York Giants, but since moving to Philadelphia, his career has changed for the better.
The 27-year-old had an amazing regular season, and with his performance against the Dallas Cowboys last week, he all but sealed the deal without having to play in Week 18 against the Giants.
“My family probably wanted it a little bit more than me,” Barkley said of a chance to chase the NFL single-season record. “The most important thing is winning football games and winning playoffs. I’ve got a bigger goal in mind.”

Entering the season, Barkley offered strong value in NFL futures odds to win the award at +1800. Miami’s Tyreek Hill was the favorite at +750 followed by San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey, who had the best odds among running backs at +800.
Per NFL betting trends, Barkley became the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards. He finished with 2,005 yards and had 13 touchdowns, which is top notch for a running back, and he completed it with 167 yards against the Cowboys. That was a fine performance, and he shouldn’t be worried about not getting the chance to break Eric Dickerson’s record.
The bigger picture is winning in the playoffs, and he’ll sacrifice adding to his statistics for the ultimate reward. It didn’t have too much of an effect on his BetUS sportsbook odds to win the award, and he remains the only player bettors want for Offensive Player of the Year.

2. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson
Our NFL predictions aren’t ruling out Jackson winning Offensive Player of the Year, despite his odds getting out to +7500.
He had an incredible year with 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns. That’s an insanely good stat line, and it would be good enough to win any other year. Per Ravens stats, he had only four interceptions, making it even more impressive.
For whatever reason, Lamar Jackson hasn’t had the same level of betting support this season compared to previous years. His passer rating was 119.6, but as the +7500 odds suggest, his season wasn’t good enough to beat Barkley for the Offensive Player of the Year title.
3. Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase
On the second line of OPOY betting is Ja’Marr Chase, who averaged 10.7 yards per reception in winning the triple crown in 2024.
That’s a great effort for the Bengals wide receiver, who had 17 touchdowns and 1,708 yards on 127 receptions, leading the league in all three categories. He was a potent weapon for Joe Burrow and the Bengals offense, and he was often the difference in winning and losing.
Online betting odds had Chase at +2500 to win theOPOY award. It doesn’t look like he’ll beat Barkley, but his performance still warrants attention. He was the premier WR in the NFL, and although we’re not backing him to win, he deserved a mention in what was a good year for offensive players.
