Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season continues on Sunday. The AFC East had three potential Super Bowl contenders entering the season, and one of them was in action on “Thursday Night Football.” The Jets hosted the Texans on TNF, and we are focusing on the other three AFC East squads in action on Sunday.

The Bills come into Week 9 first at the top of the division. Buffalo has been terrific, riding a three-game win streak, and has outscored their opponents 65-20 over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, the Dolphins will be on the road against the Bills, looking to bounce back after losing against the Cardinals. The Patriots will be on the road against Tennessee. I’ll give the best NFL odds and betting picks for these AFC East squads.

Week 9 marks the halfway point of the regular season, and as you would expect, there are tons of injuries across the league. Every team has been affected in some capacity, but we have plenty of info to back up our free NFL expert picks.

Here is a dive into my best touchdown bets for NFL Week 9. Best of luck if you tail!

Top 2 TD Prop Bets for the AFC East in NFL Week 9

1. Dolphins RB De’Von Achane Anytime TD

The Miami Dolphins offense is clearly in a better position, with Tua Tagovailoa back under center. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will only improve on their slow starts catching passes from Tua, but more importantly, the ground game will have more room to run. In Week 2 against Buffalo, Achane went off for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Achane is a great value online bet for Sunday. Achane has scored five touchdowns in three games against Buffalo. The Bills’ defense has been terrific on the perimeter but has struggled to slow down opposing backfields. They are tied with the most receptions allowed to running backs, and Achane has a 20% target share in Tua’s healthy starts this season.

Bet on De’Von Achane to Score 1+ TDs (+110)

2. Bills TE Dalton Kincaid Anytime TD

My second NFL player prop will be on Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. The Bills have the highest implied team total this week, 28 points, so they should have multiple scoring opportunities. Buffalo’s offense is starting to take shape, scoring 30-plus points in the last two weeks. Joe Brady’s offensive play-calling identity starts on the ground, but the Bills receiving room is starting to gain clarity.

With the acquisition of veteran Amari Cooper, we now know who the Bills’ top three receivers are. Cooper is slowly being incorporated as Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir have stepped up recently. The Bills’ second-year tight end hasn’t met the preseason expectations, but he’s in a good position to have his best game of the season against Miami. The Dolphins have one of the top cornerback groups in the NFL, which will make it difficult for the receivers mentioned above for Buffalo. Kincaid will be heavily targeted as a result. Last week, Cardinals tight end Trey McBride finished with 9 receptions for 124 yards against Miami. He scored last weekend and will make it two weeks in a row with a touchdown this Sunday.

Bet on Dalton Kincaid to Score 1+ TDs (+179)
