2025 NFL Win Totals: Bet on Bears, Chiefs to Cash

2025 NFL Regular-Season Win Totals

You have to give the NFL credit as they have turned something as innocuous as the release of the NFL schedule into a major television event. Even though the home and away opponents were known before Wednesday’s schedule release, now those who bet on the NFL have the entire regular-season schedule in front of them.

For those who don’t want to wait until September when the NFL games start counting, placing bets on the regular-season wins odds can be a lucrative endeavor. No team paid off any better than the Buffalo Bills in 2024 with +145 sports betting odds to go over 10.5 wins, followed by the Chicago Bears at +135 to go under 8.5 victories. The Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets both were at +130 to fall under 9.5 wins.

Chicago, Green Bay, Houston, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and Seattle all have the same expected win totals that they had heading into the 2024 season. Keep that in mind when making NFL predictions.

Who’s Up and Who’s Down in 2025?

What a difference a year can make when it comes to betting on the regular-season win totals posted by the BetUS sportsbook.

The Denver Broncos were flying under the radar heading into the 2024 season with an RSW number of 5.5. It has jumped to 9.5 this year. When looking at the NFL lines, Denver was one of four NFL teams to cover in at least 67% of its games in 2024.

The New England Patriots and Washington Commanders each had three-game leaps. I’d take a long look at the -120 odds for Jayden Daniels and the Commanders to go over 9.5 wins.

New England’s RSW line was set at 4.5 a season ago. The +120 odds for the Patriots to fall under 7.5 wins are sure to generate plenty of action.

5 NFL Win Total Bets I Love

1. New Orleans Saints Over 5.5 (+105)

Yes, I know that the retirement of Derek Carr leaves New Orleans with one of the worst quarterback rooms in the league. However, the Saints play in perhaps the worst division in the NFL. I like the Saints to find a way to cash in on the +105 odds to go over 5.5 wins.

Bet on Saints Over 5.5 Wins (+105)

2. Kansas City Chiefs Over 11.5 (EV)

There should be plenty of motivation for the Chiefs after their bid for an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl title fell short. The AFC West continues to improve, but the Chiefs should be able to make some NFL news and win at least 12 games in the regular season.

Bet on Chiefs Over 11.5 Wins (Ev)

3. Chicago Bears Over 8.5 (-105)

An improved offensive line and an offensive-minded head coach in Ben Johnson should allow quarterback Caleb Williams to thrive in his second season.

Playing in the NFC North is no picnic. However, there are plenty of winnable games outside division play.

Bet on Bears Over 8.5 Wins (+105)

4. Los Angeles Rams Under 9.5 (-105)

Playing each of the NFC South teams should help with the win total, but eight of the Rams’ 10 regular-season wins in 2024 were by seven points or less. With quarterback Matthew Stafford a year older and a questionable defense, the Rams could struggle to post another 10-win season even if they tied for second in the NFL by covering against the NFL spread as the underdog.

Bet on Rams Under 9.5 Wins (-105)

5. Las Vegas Raiders Over 7.5 (+115)

With rookie running back Ashton Jeanty joining Brock Bowers, the Raiders’ offense will be fun to watch. This is not the first rodeo for head coach Pete Carroll and there is enough talent for the Raiders to make a run at a winning season.

Bet on Raiders Over 7.5 Wins (+115)
