ATS Games of the Week: 3 Home Teams Top Picks
Man, can you believe we’re already approaching week 4 of the 2023 NFL season. It feels as if it was yesterday that we were talking about how the Denver Broncos are a sham and how the New York Jets would probably do the most Jets thing and find a way to screw themselves.
O,h wait, we were talking about that yesterday … and the day before … and the day before that too.

Anyway, who’s ready for our NFL expert picks for best ATS games of the week? We got the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns all ready to make you some money, so let’s get to it.
Don’t Expect an Upset in Philly
Remember how last season the Washington Commanders showed up in Philadelphia and bested the Eagles by 32-21, handing Jalen Hurts’ team its first loss of the season. Well, if you’re thinking about running it back with Washington as one of your top NFL picks this week, don’t. Please don’t.
Even after the Eagles still couldn’t manage to play their best football of the season in their MNF win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, that doesn’t compare one bit to the ridiculous stomping Washington took against the Buffalo Bills.

Coming off their worst game in quite some time, it should be expected for Washington to bounce back in some form. But with Philadelphia’s offense being way ahead in talent in comparison to Washington’s defense, do yourself a favor: Head on over to our sportsbook and take Philly covering the -8 ½ spread here.
NFL Pick: Philadelphia Eagles -8 ½ (-110)
Bryce Young’s Redemption Week?
For someone that has been watching Bryce Young since his playing days with the Alabama Crimson Tide, I have to say I’m a bit surprised at how disappointing his first outings have been. Yes, it’s always tough for rookie QBs to get rolling in the pros, but damn, Young, your story wasn’t supposed to start in such substandard fashion.
While veteran Andy Dalton had to sub in for an injured Young, only for the Panthers to fall against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3, all signs point toward Young coming back for the team’s Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
For Young, if there was ever a chance to go for redemption, it will be here. Against a secondary that doesn’t bring anything to the table like Minnesota’s, Young could find a niche to put on a good performance. With that said, I still see the Vikings ousting the Panthers here, but if Young can play some decent football, I say go with the Panthers at +4 as another of your NFL picks for Sunday.
NFL Pick: Carolina Panthers +4 (-110)
Cleveland’s Defense will give Baltimore Hhell
I’m a man in love with Cleveland’s defense and I feel no regret talking about it. Led by superstar DE Myles Garrett, this defense is the best in the league, by far, and it looks like they’re not even fully warmed up yet.
In Week 4, at home against Lamar Jackson and the injury-stricken Baltimore Ravens, if you want one of the easiest NFL expert picks against the spread to put some money on, please do yourself a favor and take the Browns at -3.
With Cleveland’s defense dominating left and right, DeShaun Watson starting to show his old playing form once again and the Ravens potentially playing this game minus starters on both sides of the ball, would you really go any other way than taking the Browns?
NFL Pick: Cleveland Browns -3 (Ev)
