ATS Picks of the Week: Give Double Digits with NFC’s Elite
After two full weeks of action, it’s safe to say that pro football is back and starting to fire on all cylinders. Even with it being so early in the season, heavy NFL odds favorites are starting to stand out, with others either trying to find a path toward relevance or looking like they could use a little – or a lot – of help moving forward.
Teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and San Francisco 49ers have put the league on notice thus far, starting out the season undefeated. While other squads, like the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, could be looking for a lifeline very soon.

For now, while we await kickoff on Thursday night, let’s run through our picks for best NFL expert picks against the spread for Week 3.
New York Giants vs San Francisco 49ers (-11)
Kicking off the action in Week 3 and our list for best ATS picks, the 49ers (2-0) will be playing host to the New York Giants (1-1) in a game that has all the ingredients to be a blowout win for the home team. With the NFC turning into an early three-team race to the title between San Francisco, Dallas and the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles, the Niners understand better than anything that winning is the only option here.
With Giants star running back Saquon Barkley ruled out after suffering an ankle injury last week, all signs point toward a Niners win at home. San Francisco has a much better overall roster than New York, the better coach, a more stable quarterback and home-field advantage. On Thursday, take the Niners to win and cover the spread at -11.
NFL Pick: San Francisco 49ers -11 (-110)
Dallas Cowboys (-12½) vs Arizona Cardinals
What do you get when you pin the worst team in the NFL, the 0-2 Arizona Cardinals, against one of the best, if not the best, squads in the 2-0 Dallas Cowboys? A game that could be a massive blowout in favor of Dallas, and one of the safest expert NFL picks to roll with on Sunday.
Entering the game after bashing both New York teams in the first couple of weeks, for Dallas, heading out to play Arizona could be yet another walk in the park kind of game. Playing in a stadium that will feel like playing at home, and against a team that won’t have much to bring to the table, take Dallas at -12 ½ and make some easy money.
NFL Pick: Dallas Cowboys -12½ (-110)
Philadelphia Eagles vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+5)
If anybody would have told me that Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would become a team to keep an eye on this season, I could not have taken them seriously for a second. It’s Mayfield and the post-Brady Bucs we’re talking about. This wasn’t supposed to work. But to close out my NFL picks this week for best ATS bets, I have to go with Tampa Bay.
No, I’m not taking the Buccaneers to beat the Eagles. I’m not an idiot. But with the way that Tampa Bay’s defense has been playing, even with Philadelphia as the favorite for this game according to our NFL lines, I don’t see it necessarily winning with ease.
This Tampa Bay defense is starting to become the true backbone of the team’s success. With an Eagles offense still warming up to the season, it could become a block of sorts in Philly’s road to victory. I’ll take the Eagles to win the game but, for the best NFL pick, take the Bucs at +5 ATS.
NFL Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5 (-110)
