One of the most anticipated Wild-Card contests is between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans. The teams clashed in the playoffs last year when the Titans upset the top-seeded Ravens on their way to the AFC Championship Game. Tennessee won the regular-season meeting this year as well, prevailing in overtime.
The Ravens, and particularly quarterback Lamar Jackson, are looking for redemption. Going in as the visitor, Baltimore is still the favorite to win thanks to five straight wins, though only one came against another playoff team. Tennessee has dropped its last two matchups with teams in this year’s playoff field, something to remember when you bet online on this contest.

|Team||Point Spread||Moneyline||Over/Under||Team Total|
Moneyline: Ravens -180 | Titans +160
This one is expected to be close and considering the overtime affair the teams played earlier that shouldn’t be a surprise. Both teams love to run the ball, with Jackson a threat every time he touches it in addition to the Ravens’ running backs. The big question will be if Baltimore can slow down Derrick Henry, the league’s leading rusher with 2,027 yards. Henry had 133 yards in the first meeting and is coming off a 250-yard performance in the season finale against Houston. It says here he leads the Titans to another win.
Pick: Titans to win
Point Spread: Ravens -3½
The NFL odds are favoring the Ravens because of their hot streak but as we said earlier, much of that came against teams that aren’t in the postseason. Baltimore is going to have to battle an opponent other than Tennessee in this one in its own psyche. The Ravens are going to remember failing to get wins in their first playoff games in each of the last two seasons and potentially put pressure on themselves trying to break that streak.
Pick: Titans to cover
Over/Under: 54½ points
These teams combined for 54 points in their earlier meeting. While both can move the ball and score, these teams also eat up a lot of clock with their emphasis on the running game. That means fewer possessions so fewer chances to score. Although this won’t be a low-scoring affair, we like it to end under the 54½ total.
Pick: Under 54½
Final score: Titans 27, Ravens 24
Yes, this should be a good game, but you can’t forget about the Wild Card props. We have lots of prop bets that you can take your chances on to make this game even more fun than just who is going to win and advance.
Let’s take a look at some NFL betting props for the game.
Player to Score First TD: Derrick Henry +500
This one seems like it’s almost too easy. Henry is getting the same odds as the field because he seems like the obvious selection. Tennessee’s running back is going to be the preferred method for the Titans to score, and if you’re picking Tennessee to win, as we are, then you’re counting on Henry having a big game.
Team To Score Longest TD: Ravens -130
When the Ravens do go to the air, they can be dynamic, with Jackson able to find tight end Mark Andrews or wide receiver Marquise Brown for scores. Tennessee’s defense is going to be so cognizant of the run that Baltimore will likely have to go to the air to move the ball. That opens up the possibility for a long score. We like those chances.
First Turnover Of The Game Will Be A: Fumble +115
In making your NFL picks you want to look at the teams’ tendencies. In this one, both teams like to run the ball, which to us means that there is more likelihood of a fumble by a ball carrier than an interception. Since we don’t have to decide which team or player will be doing the fumbling, we’re good with taking a fumble as the first turnover.
